Laurel Lane Fire (Seymour, CT) 4/30/24
SEYMOUR, CT - At approximately 7:30am on April 30, 2024, the Seymour Fire Department was dispatched to 4 Laurel Lane for a reported house fire. First companies on scene found heavy fire showing from a 2 story home on the 1st and 2nd floors. Occupants had already made it out of the home safely, but there were reports of 3 cats still inside the structure. Mutual aid companies were called from Oxford and other cities to set up a tanker shuttle and provide manpower at the fire. Cause of the fire and status of the family’s pets are unknown at this time.
