I watched the year she was on American Idol. I was rooting for James Durbin to win, but Lauren was one of my favorites too. Not only is she very talented, but just from observing the way she interacts with her fans, she seems really sweet and fun. I am actually considering getting a VIP ticket to one of her concerts someday so I can meet her myself.

I’m absolutely enthralled with Lauren’s performance. I have always loved her since American Idol, and will continue to support her in everything that she does. However, at the same time, I’m quite appalled and absolutely gobsmacked with the amount of hatred that has been shown in the comments section from some of you people who claim that Lauren is something that she really isn’t. You have called her multiple names saying she’s a bully and a mediocre singer and that she’ll never get far in the music industry. Let me be brutally honest about this to you guys and for anyone hating on her. What YOU said about someone else is a reflection of yourself and your issues. In order to mature, you need to learn to understand yourselves and your likes and dislikes a little more clearly which is by understanding why you dislike someone or someone’s music (Lauren’s songs included).
