Something to try very very hard to remember/realize. We send these people to Washington to FORM THE FUTURE OF AMERICA!! Not to give it to the man?? Not to do nothing, which they excel at. The audience was all family, friends and staffers of the candiddates. This was a party atmosphere and they thought the question was fumny You're probably imagining a real debate like you see on TV, this wasn't it, more like a PTA meeting. The straw vote wa meaningless, whoever bought the most tickets was going to win.
The point is those attending think this is a good thing. They don't care about the reasons. This to spur the sensible people to get out and vote, otherwise the clapping fools get their choice.
