The former star of MTV's "The Hills" has created a full lifestyle brand, from clothing lines to books. Now Lauren and her best friend Hannah Skvarla have cofounded The Little Market, an online nonprofit shop featuring products made by female artisans from around the world. As they prepare to open their first brick-and-mortar store, Fast Company's Chris Allen met up with Lauren to discuss the company's goals and how she takes big leaps in life.

I feel like Lauren was forced that go into the reailty tv I don’t think she enjoyed being on television she just wanted a fashion career. But I think her parents cut her off financially that why she did it.

@MyDv12 not gonna lie i really liked heidi and Audrina and hated Lo. Lauren was okay but always seemed like a spoiled brat. Even on Laguna Beach.
