Lauren Daigle, the winner of 3 GMA Dove Awards, made an appearance at the press room to talk about her artistic transformation and how she stays humble.
How can anyone not love her?? She is goodness, humility, sunshine and love personified in the sweetest, most talented package. If shes selling the Lord, I'm getting in line!

@@echowalker2153 I not saying to hate homosexuals 1st cuz that would contradict the word which say to love every body. 2nd I just saying that we r to stand for the word and to do that what the word says and live by it. I'm just tired of Christians wavering n knowing the word n living by it. When come to the lbgt community u can just disagree with them because their agenda is to confused everyone about a person sexuality. We christians r suppose to have a sound mind we shouldn't be wavering in our thinking because jesus is coming back soon.
@@jessicaellis8751 thank you for sharing with me. We need to open dialogue about this 1st. We are losing the battle for those who are caught in the "gay" mindset. I have tried for many years to write on this, to sow seeds of compassion and awareness. It seems even touching on it can set off a firestorm of fear and accusation. So let's start with this thought about how Ms. Daigle handled the issue with this in mind: Any time we accuse, beware that we are not listening to and echoing the accusations of the accuser of the brethren. So imagine that there are many ppl still "in the closet" so to speak, hiding for fear the Christians will find out and tell ppl. It could ruin lives. Marriages. Families. Careers. If I were Lauren Daigle with a new career in the CMM who has made friends with some ppl trying to come to grips with this sexual need, i wouldn't want to cause my friends distress or harm or in any way damage my career as a musician. I feel she knows what the Bible says. She seems to be of sound mind. She said she didnt "know" if it is a sin and then clearly stated she has friends who are of this persuasion. This is the real reason she passed the hot potato on to those who want to mess with it. She has an image to uphold and prefers to be focused on the grace of God in our Lord. That does not mean she is "for" the gay lifestyle. That means she does not feel called to deal with it, and should not have to the way I see it. We are seeing a new militant mindset come into this issue now with "gay" ppl apparently threatening Franklin Graham, Billy Graham's son. We cannot stop this battle now. We MUST CHOOSE TO SPEAK GRACE AND PEACE OVER THIS and be the type of person the Word calls a "peacemaker". Taking a position of telling anyone any action is "sin" is seen as hateful by others. Isn't that the job of the Holy Spirit? Then our job first and foremost must be to demonstrate the love and grace of God so that others can receive the Holy Spirit and begin the process of restoration of those who are wounded in this manner. I was given some insight about why some go toward loving the same sex and i can say with assurance that it is a deep wound from early childhood, NOT a choice. Why are we so jumpy and defensive about this sin? Yes, it is very serious and evidence of the decline of the family and moral center of mankind. Still, the bottom line is Jesus Christ crucified, buried, who rose from the grave in three days. Let His Spirit convict of sin. Our job is to sow seeds and that is all. God bless you sister.
@@echowalker2153 I 1st and foremost agree with u on most of what u said. So I'm just gonna say I respect your opinion I can see how u r viewing it. I just have a question what image is more important your career or god cause last I check we suppose to choose god every time whether u new or not. 2nd I don't lives to be ruin either but the whole point of truth is to lived in whether ppl agree with or not. For those of you concerned 😟 that Lauren doesn't use the words God or Jesus enough 🤔 🙏 😉 😅 in her songs, please consider this. The Book of Esther doesn't have the word God in it. Does that make it any less Godly or less inspired by God? When you're, Fishers of Men, God may tell you to...cast a wide net. Be obedient, don't try to copy somebody else.
"and how she stays humble" Who? This is the FIRST time she has mentioned the Lord in ANY venue in any video of her put out that I have seen in over a year.. God has never gotten HIS due: NO glory, NO thanks, nothing due HIM. THIS is "humble" : To give thanks where it is due: ALL glory is to the Lord Jesus Christ, to GOD, anything but her, her and her. TOO FEW of us see it.. VERY few of us who always see it and who TRULY believe that God ALWAYS gets the glory for ALL things and in ALL things. Most all I hear now is I, I, I, and I. (and me, me, me) I guess it got back to her that too many Christians have caught it that she never mentioned God I guess..now she needs to work on her sincerity that she MEANS that "God IS who gets it" That HE gets ALL the glory due Him in ALL things". I *truly do* pray that she "wakes up" as well as that she begins to mention the Name of Christ in her songs, since she declares that she is a "Christian" singer. Only *THREE* times on one CD, I'm told, is ALL that she even says the Name of "God". I'm sorry, but I DON'T lie about this, this is serious to me as a believer that Christ IS the Savior and all praise, honor, and glory are due Him and His Holy Name! I am both grieved and disgusted when God does NOT get the GLORY that HE deserves in ALL things.. that is TRUTH, and God commands TRUTH. I pray that she either comes out ALL the way for Christ or just stops using Him for her fame. We are to NEVER be ashamed of the Gospel! I do and I will always stand for Jesus Christ FIRST and EVERY time. Doesn't matter WHO it is, God gets ALL the glory in ALL things.. that's TRUTH. That's the LOVE for our God and Savior, slain violently for our sin at Calvary, that some of us TRULY have and believe with NO compromise.
You apairintly don't really listen to all of songs & lyrics? Because its all about her savior. She don't need to say it in every song? But us as believers we know who she is singing to.
Billy Sure she doesn't need to have the name of Jesus in every song BUT there is only 1 song out of 13 songs on her Look Up Child album that has the name of Jesus in it. That's 8% of this album, and it won the 2019 Contemporary Album of the Year award? 🤔 This album sounds more inspirational which means the "I", "You", and even "God" can be used to sing about anyone even to the god of your choice.
