Family adventure series THE GIFTED, from 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. Great now Andy has gone from almost killing his sister to destroying her mental health. All of the great connections in the world are useless if you don't have basic compassion and care to the health of your sibling.

tthpf The clones convinced him that he would be saving Lauren by doing this. Andy doesn’t fully understand the toll it is taking on Lauren. He just feels worried and stressed all the time, thanks to Lauren’s emotions. So he thinks if he remove her from her situation then she will be better.

PLLittleMama2007 yeah the connection goes both ways so Lauren feels what he does too. But he has no right to mentally manipulate his sister.. I really hope that he realises what is happening and how it is destroying Lauren from the inside out. Seriously, did you see her in this episode? She looked so bad and all because of Andy and the Frosts! I really wish someone takes down the frosts because I am so DONE with their manipulations and harming my precious child! 😡😡

tthpf Andy clearly said that he wanted his sister join him willingly, not by manipulating. And the Frost sisters lied to him that they wouldn’t do it. He didn’t know. He just wanted to help his sister and he is the one who are being manipulated.

PLLittleMama2007 True he did want her to come willingly. He has this huge vision set up thinking that they’re doing something great when he doesn’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. He’s always worried and stressed because he’s connected to Lauren they feel the same emotions and feed off of each others powers so I don’t think he would want to amplify that feeling or hurt her

+Jormangandur83 She's just in deep denial and it's funny how naive she is to think that avoiding sleep at any cost will seriously help her to get stronger and have the willpower to stand up to Andy when her lack of sleep is only quickening up the process for her to join Andy in the end because whether she likes it or not, Andy is her other half and the same goes for her brother because Lauren is also Andy's other half and they need each other, it's not a matter of choices, it's like a biological need, their x-genes make them too dependent on each other to stay way from the other sibling for too long

+Jormangandur83 Lauren is just in denial and she doesn't understand that her being in denial is doing more harm than good in the end because she's trying hard to repress those feelings she's having deep inside and like you said, if she joined Andy instead of pushing him away, Andy would explain the whole situation to Lauren and she would also tell Andy everything about those weird dreams she's been having and when both of them start to see the strange things in their dreams, they'd both come to the conclusion that someone or something is messing with them both, Andy would never let anyone use Lauren as a weapon unless he's not aware of what's truly happening and Andy trusts the Frosts too much for him to see that they're taking advantage of his trust toward them to use the psychic link he and Lauren share to manipulate Lauren's mind through Andy, the moment he knows about that, the moment that the Frosts, Reeva an the other three mutant fugitives recruited by the IC will be screwed

she's not in denial-she simply doesn't want any part of being in a terrorist group-which is what the inner circle is. '' if she joined Andy instead of pushing him away''? if memory serves-he abandoned her then came this close to killing her. it is a matter of choice-like he CHOSE to abandon her.

Lauren was on the brink of becoming what she should be but the Frosts were a little too eager. If it was Andy he would have been more caring and she would have joined....

Hes being naive here , he doesn’t want to hurt her, he wants her to leave willingly, he said that but the cuckoos insisted and convinced him and manipulated him in thinking this could help her and would be harmless. He still thinks they are are good and is helping him

If you finished the episode you would see that they literally only told Lauren exactly what she wanted to hear that's what they were looking for Andy didn't manipulate her via frost powers but with their knowledge and its not that bad considering continues to use force and hurt him sometimes having it backfire on her self

Andy is not trying to force, and he is not causing any pain. Marcos causes pain in this show big time though. Andy wants to just explain the reality to his sister, open her eyes to the truth, that she FEELS already

Blink has some nerve to abandon the underground and turn around and ask them for help. I would've been fine with them telling her no an letting glow die it's not like she was helping the underground at all plus her ability was useless we could've nearly lost one of our valuable MVPs (Markos) because of glow and blink. I really hope my homie Thunderbird never gets back with her, cause he's a great leader and fighter meanwhile she's the complainer and quitter. Lol Thunderbird and blink are a terrible couple given how opposite they are but this is my opinion lemme know if you agree or disagree. Loving the show BTW each episode gets better and better.

I like both Thunderbird and Blink but I agree their relationship felt rushed due to Dreamer's death. I actually admire Blink for joining Morlocks and I want Marcos to get with Glow and finally stop chasing Lorna

@@alexanderplatypus3664 Markos should definitely leave Polaris after all the things she's done to him. Lied, gave birth to his child that he never got to be a part of, when he 1st got to see his own child they only gave him minutes to heal his baby with his UV light , then she turns around and gives his baby up and send it to her mother's house which Markos also has no idea who or where that is I think. All I know is that if Polaris dies Markos will never find his own child that She kept for him. If there's a season where Markos kid is a teenager or young adult he should definitely be told how badly his mother treated his father
