She was arrested after the police received an anonymous tip off, while she was hiding at her parent's house in Long Island. Why are they saying she turned herself in, as soon as she had to?
“They” are her legal counsel; they get paid to defend her, so they’re going to say anything they can that will put her in a more positive light-whenever remotely possible. However, this woman really messed up. She should’ve never pushed that woman, she should have helped her when she fell and go to injured, she should not have head and take it off. The least you can do now is come clean. She should just tell the truth of what she did
@Anthony Puzyn Her face was all over the local news from the get go so they probably knew. The prosecutors will not focus on them though, they got their hands full with their daughter.
@@theresenydahl9531 Yes because then prosecutors would have to go after EVERYONE who's family member's picture is on the news accused of a crime and they didn't turn them in.
Who here actually has faith in the New York justice system?? It is a foregone conclusion already that this privileged bully will get no more than a slap on the wrist - assuming she is even found gullty.
How utterly disgusting. All I can think of his my grandmother and how could you not... Just makes you want to cry because you know there won't be justice
She took a life therefore she should have to serve a lifetime sentence. Incredibly cruel act and she should not be trusted with vulnerable individuals like children. I wonder if the wedding is off or if the fiancé is just like her😳
1:45 The body language *says it all.* He _knows_ his client should have plead guilty for a lesser charge during sentencing. Voluntary manslaughter at most.
@@sirmadam8183 You don't need a legal background to see the avoiding eye-contact, smirking, a shrug _about_ to occur, etc.. All body-language signs that it was hard for him to say that she plead not guilty as it was a *very* stupid move.
But they were just at the arraignment. Not sentencing. That’s going to be in at least a year. Possibly, a few years. She’s going to be found guilty regardless
You're a funny one, God doesn't serve like a human judge LMAO, the Devil may just take her soul if she falls into depression, if not, and she survives this, then karma will inevitably come either in this life or the next.
Pretty white girl 3x She's going to make bail, she's going home to eat, lawyer going to say she was having a bad day, she'll get 5 years probation Pretty white girls x3
Outrageous that Lauren is being charged. This was an 87 year old woman who lost her balance. Lauren was raised in Port Jefferson, graduated from FIT and worked for Roche Bobois... why would she attack an old lady without provocation?? Lauren is being persecuted because of her socioeconomic status.
@@ariesbyfire This is all a misunderstanding. Lauren reached out to help brace the old lady's fall; unfortunately this kind act was misinterpreted as a shove. Lauren is only 26 and is extremely progressive... she is also engaged to an Asian.
