I like the longer videos. There's a lot of fantasy and sci fi built on the idea of lost civilizations. Tolkien is an easy reference, as Man inherited Middle Earth and the more fantastic aspects of the world were lost in the dawn of the Fourth Age, the Age of Man. 40k, Atlantis, Star Wars, Halo, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, Wheel of Time, Journey to the Center of the Earth (book especially as it dives into Agartha, The Hollow World), etc, etc etc. I think the genre is just called lost/ ancient/ forgotten civilization. It's a huge sorrow of mine as well! You did not watch out of order btw

I'd love to see more long-form stuff, even if it needs to be split up, there is some incredible videos out there that are just too long to normally justify recommending them. Case in point: Wendigoon's video on the Faith trilogy of videogames, quite a long video but an incredible story told incredibly well by Wendigoon.

other longform stuff that would be well worth watching would be tex talks battletech. the warhammer episode would be a good hook to get started with
