Koster 64, He wasn't kidding. I have watched this movie many times, and all of his words are wisdom,easy to remember and oh so relatable. The older I get the more relatable the words get, OUCH!!!!
My god, I have watched this movie over 17 times. First time I could only watch it half way due an emergency interruption. Can't tell you how great everything has been in this Disney production. I call it perfect in every way, a complete perfection.
This is the best movie ever made! It reminds of when times were good when materialism and technology werent predominant in the world like they are today and there was values existing! Who would do what Alvin Straight did back in the day? So sad I want those times back but lets try to make the best out of it everybody stay safe out there!
This is one of the best moving film I've seen and this song tears every cord of my heart. So beautifully put together and Alvin? Every mark of a true and determined gentleman. You just gotta love him 😪😪
Absolutely. Beautiful movie, soundtrack and an exceptionally touching performance from Farnsworth. He was in pain throughout shooting, put pushed through the struggle one last time. The whole thing is just poetic.
Cant even explain what i feel when i listen to this masterpiece, omg is a mix of feelings that is beyond the soul, thank you americans for this music! And for everything! From a Brazilian. =]

I'm a huge David Lynch fan, this movie is his masterpiece and, I'm ashamed to admit, this movie the only one missing from my David Lynch DVD collection.

Uno dei film più profondi che abbia mai visto... Bisognerebbe utilizzare un certo tipo di cinema per sensibilizzare i bambini e quindi gli uomini e le donne di domani.. Da piccolo guardavo i film "importanti" in tv con mio padre (non c'erano sempre molti soldi per potere andare al cinema)ed era stupendo, quando attraverso lo schermo, arrivava la stessa emozione a entrambi e ci si guardava per un attimo con uno sguardo pieno di intesa.. Il cinema (soprattutto il grande cinema) è vita. Un abbraccio dalla puglia..
