Lausanne, Switzerland, is located on Lake Geneva's shores. The city of known for being the Olympic Capital, hosting the International Olympic Committee. Close to 140.000 people live in Lausanne, which is in the French speaking part of the country.
On this walking tour of Lausanne we experience the hilly landscape of the city center. We start from the Lausanne train station. Heading uphill we soon get to see the Lausanne Cathedral - a Gothic-style building where we also have a peek inside. The city has a lot to offer on art and culture. Tourists can enjoy several museums and galleries. The view from the top of the city center with the Alps in the distance is also nice.
Soon we head back down through the colorful old town with several shopping streets. At last we end our walking tour right we we started - at the Lausanne central train station.

Lausanne is so much nicer than Geneva. It's not boringly flat, it has an stunning view on the lake and the Alps, it's younger than GVA, it's perfectly south-west orientated, more peaceful and "humane". And the best thing is that it has multiple long beaches accessible at a walking distance from the city-centre.

Lausanne Switzerland is very beautiful and this was a great walk along the streets seeing all of the stores and restaurants especially the McDonald's was really great and I enjoyed seeing the buildings and the houses Thank You for the great scenic tour of the city of Lausanne Thank You.🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭 🎵🎶🎼🇨🇭🎼🎶🎵

Je connais par coeur ces endroits.. La premiere visite en 1993, J'ai travaille beaucoup d'annees pour une tres grande maison a Lausanne ou on m'avait fait confiance. La, j'ai pu obtenur un bon financement pour developper les affaires en Russie. C'est ma ville preferee en Suisse, bien que j'ai voyage un peu partout. . Merci beaucoup Lausanne. Mslts de Moscou

Quel dommage que vous n’ayez pas filmé les bords du lac , le quartier d’Ouchy, venir à Lausanne et ne pas voir le lac si magnifique et ces belles montagnes qui l’entoure, et ces be Ateaux qui partent et arrivent, peut être avez vous une partie 2. , je l’espere merci beaucoup 🤩🥰🙏🏻
