Artists like lauv are the honest reasons why I am the person that I am today. Around this time last year I went through a rough break up and it was just a rough patch in my life. I remember listening to nothing but songs like “breathe” and “the other”. (Of course I listened to “the other” back when it was released 💙) but his songs actually got me through all the tough times I’ve had this past year and a half. His songs are so relatable and meaningful. I appreciate the person that he is and I wanted to say thank you for everything that you’ve put out for us. 💙

@@melodywoina awe i love seeing other peoples stories that i can relate to because it doesnt make me feel so alone as i went thru a heartbreak last october. But I can deffo say the lyrics behind his songs are another level and you can tell he cares a lot about his songs through the way he performs :). hahaha love how this was 3 years ago.

One of my favourite song and artist. I’ve watched his concert recently solo and he sang this song. I told myself if I cried, It means I’m still heartbroken with my ex, but then I heard him sing and all I felt is relief and happiness the whole time.
