I'm seeing a lot of these videos using this great product. They don't put enough water to create that piston suction movement to create a vortex suction to clean better.

True...I learned after many times of doing it that it needed a lot more water than I used initially

Thanks for the review. I have wondered about those. When we go camping far out in a National or State Forest, we usually just wash our clothing in a 5 gallon bucket and hang it to dry. But sometimes when it’s rainy we have use the laundromat in town. Hannah is going to get very strong doing your laundry!

4 ounces of white vinegar, will give you a great final rinse, and the smell doesn't linger on your clothes!

I live in a small apartment with no washer or dryer hook-up. I had a portable electric washing machine that could hook up to the sink, however the land-lord decided to put a note on my door to remove it from the apartment because it is a lease violation. Uhhg. So I have been reviewing these non-electric ones, and this Lavario seems the most efficient. Since it isn't hooked up to anything, I can't be making a lease violation. Looking forward to it's delivery. Thank you for making this video. I got the Ninja spin dryer, which is really awesome. Only need to hang clothes up for a few hours and they are ready to fold and put away.

My landlord complained about my little portable one, too, but not the electric - the water usage. With my bad back I won't be able to pump this one even if I wanted to sneak it in, so back to the laundromat we go instead.

@@suzybear22 Hey Suzy...... I wound up getting a 5 gallon bucket, putting it in the bathtub, putting soap in it with my clothes, using a special "plastic washing wand", letting it soak, repeat x2. Then drain, fill again with water, use hands, pour out, repeat until all soap is gone. Then use the Ninja Spinner. And then hang in front of fan/ac unit. Surely your landlord wouldn't object to a 5 gallon bucket.

I was without a washer last summer as we had floods and I had no power in the kitchen. I coped by treating stains, soaking the clothes, rubbing thrift then rinsing. I was lucky I have a brilliant spin dryer that gets things almost dry but it wasn’t hard work apart from the rinsing.

Different methods of doing laundry are out there, but I’m Ol’ School . Give me a Top Loader Automatic Washer with an agitator any day.

I been watching numerous videos on portable laundry items I live in a apartment and it's a lease violation to have a clothes washer I did have a clothes washer that hooked to my sink till landlord brought it to my attention that it was a lease violation to have it I own a spin dryer already that I use for when I handwash my unmentionables so I think after watching many videos of different items that the lavario one will best suit my needs and not be a lease violation as it doesn't hook up to anything

But it uses a lot of water, whether it's hooked to a sink or you use buckets to fill it. That was my landlord's problem with portable washers in the apartment.

This washer may be more efficient with less clothes and more water. Maybe okay for camping or living off the Grid.

Why not just use two buckets (one soap and one rinse) And a plunger?!?

There are certainly different methods. But, what I love about this is that the up and down motion is easy and effectively pulls the water through to really get it clean with little effort. I haven't tried the plunger but it seems to be much more difficult and less efficient. Thanks for the feedback though. 😀

I have a Manuel washer and I do whites then darks in same wash water. Same with the rinse. I may need to drain and add a little more fresh water to the rinse for darks but really saves on water and soap.

Well, it is not cheap...but, it solves a problem for people that can't hook up to running water and/or don't have electric where they want to use it. It is well made and gets the job done. 👍

Cute letting your daughter help with the wash, but the motion she's having to make with the basket will wear the handle out in no time. Doesn't seem worth it to me; just to let the child help, or to show how easy the process is. Nice little washer, though.

Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate your concerns about the handle but I do love letting my daughter help and learn how to do things when she can ❤️
