Nice one! How cool is that! I've been running Sena units since 2011. I love the older SMH10 as they hold up well to abuse. My first one lasted over 7 years but the next 30S didn't last well so I went back to the older model again which is holding up well still after more than 4 years.

Final thoughts - Mesh is only line-of-sight. On a recent ride around the Victorian and New South Wales (Australia) 4 day ride 6 of us on mesh (all using Cardos), we quickly found its limits. Despite us being less than a mile (1.6km) apart from first to last rider, we'd often get the dreaded "group connection" lost message. This was due, I think, to the winding and twisty mountain roads where we'd lose sight of each other around bends. And mesh sucks the life out of the unit's battery, too.

I travelled 5000kms with Cardo from Malaysia to Chiangmai and onto the Mae Hon Song Loop Thailand and back with a mate and we both had Cardo’s, tried everything to connect to each other countless times but to no avail…. So it’s time to Bin the Cardo’s and try out the Sena’s or something else! What a waste of time and money and we are both tech savvy! Thumbs down to Cardo! WTF!

Been using the Sena MESH for a couple of years on the quads and just come back from a group tour of the Pyrenees on the Tuareg's. Brilliant bit of kit. The range does extend with more riders and proved a vital safety feature when we had an off half way up the mountain. In open mode don't forget if you curse someone you pass, they may hear you though😂

I highly recommend you to use bluetooth when it's just the two of you riding. The sound quality is better than via mesh and the battery lasts longer. Good luck, you’re awesome!

We bought the media mod for the GoPro and plugged a normal lavalire mic in it like this we can record our audio 😊

Great Headsets .. maybe bias I have the same 50s. ( I have used cardo too ) I’m not sure if you realise you can replace the boom mic with the wired mic. I have an adventure helmet and works and feels so much better . Good luck and keep the great content flowing 🤘

Good choice - most of those ebay knock-offs are garbage. I had a SENA 10S. Worked great. But I never used it rider to rider or bike to bike. Then I got a new lid and the lads recommended getting a Cardo Packtalk. So, I opted for the Edge. Comms-wise it works fine. Audio is great and noise cancelling from the mike is good too. In that respect it performs as well as the SENA did. But, the Cardo has these thin buttons which are difficult to feel and hard to press, unlike the SENA with its flat and tactile buttons. So, ergos for the SENA are better. SENA battery life was good. In non-comms mode I'd get two days of riding out of it. The Cardo Edge though is much less. Yesterday, after a 2 hour ride the battery was down to 70%. In previous rides with mesh active I'd get a flat battery after around 6 hours of usage. Not good. I run a Chigee AIO-5 Lite CarPlay unit. It's a new product and there are heaps like it flooding the market (Carpuride is another), and the Carplay side of things works great with the Cardo for audio, phone calls and the like. Maybe you can try and score one as you're a bike "influencer". That is, if you're into tech gadgets.

Question: watching you testing the system on that road (at 6:46). I can hear both of your voices BEFORE the Senas were turned on. How do you do that? Do you have two microphones in your helmets, one for the cam and one for the Sena? I'm not a videographer and that level of tech is a bit beyond me. I'm in awe of anyone who can make these videos.

We would love to change to DJI but we can’t really afford to change all our cameras to the moment, we got use to the GoPro now but we would definitely be open to try new or other cameras 😊

Good for you and me. I had never seen them set up. I don't ride with many people at all but i do have a group tour ride I'm doing next year so I will have to get a setup. Sounds amazing. All good Safe travels. Now how do they charge and how long does it last, can charge while you ride? Or off usb battery pak? Next time

Our helmets have a build in flat spot where we could easily stick on a GoPro mount, it really was a game changer for us!

We’re recording individually, we both have the media mod for the GoPro and with it we can record our Audio. So actually nothing to do with the intercoms 😊

Nice intercom system. Sadly, not a nice price. It costs more than I paid for my bike that I have been adventuring on for the last 16 years. (Next trip planned is in 4 weeks time from Estepona, Spain, through France and Italy to Switzerland).
