Your cards are just so beautiful Heidi, who would have thought that a stencil could produce such a delightful card. Love your colours, especially the rainbow one, thank you so much for your inspiration 💖
Hi Heidi, a good way of cuuting the ends of your cards is to not put glue where they join, let the ends overlap as you do but then use a craft knife to cut through both layers of card. Be careful when cutting the bottom layer. Lift up the end bits, take out the cut off and then youll have a perfect mitre cut and they'll match up. You can then put a dab of glue on the stick them down. Love all your cards, theyre so classy and not 'overdone'. I have cheaper blending brushes from temu and they've washed beautifully and no difference when using them again. Keep the videos coming, you give me lots of inspiration x
Thanks for the advise for cutting...Al definitely try it x Well I didn't know temu did stuff like that....shall be having a look thank you so much for watching 😊
🎶 O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree...🎶 (while you were die cutting!) And just when I think I've amassed enough supplies, I add to my running list 😂 ...Ultra thick embossing powder!
A tip for mitreing the two strips together. If you overlap one over the other and go through them both with a sharp craft knife then take the ends away. This works for me.
Gorgeous cards Heidi! Great technique! Oh dear…I think Rosie and Nyx are kindred spirits! 😂 We’re hoping that when she’s spayed that she might settle down a bit….I think it’s a big ask! 🥴❤
A2 is an American sizing that is 1/4 of their standard paper size (called letter size) which is 8.5x11 inches. UK (& Aus) standard paper size is A4 which is 210x297mm, and A6 is 1/4 of the A4 paper size. US letter size is slightly wider and shorter than UK A4, so the US A2 card size is wider and shorter than the standard A6 card size in UK and Aus (which is basically 4x6 inches). Gina K master layouts mostly use the A2 dimensions - they do have a master layouts for 5x7 inch cards but not for 4x6 cards…
Love watching your videos, they are fantastic. Lots of inspiration. I can’t find your email address to sign up for the chance to have one of your lovely cards 😢
