Welcome to the Remaster series. What is there to say but that this is a fun little project to restore those old dusty files I found on an old computer I had thought lost and to bring them back to the high quality standards of 2024 with much improved visuals, audio and an optimized script.
On topic, outshining the master can backfire by triggering feelings of insecurity, jealousy, and resentment in superiors, colleagues, classmates, potentially damaging your relationship with them. It can also lead to perceptions of you as a threat, isolating you from coworkers and hindering career growth. Balancing your talents with humility and adapting your approach to the specific context is crucial to avoid these negative consequences and foster healthy professional relationships.
But naturally, the principle of "Never Outshine the Master" may not apply in situations where the organization or relationship values transparency, collaboration, and the open sharing of ideas and talents. In some modern workplaces and partnerships, encouraging each member to shine and contribute their best skills and ideas can lead to greater success and innovation.
Additionally, in environments where meritocracy is highly valued, showcasing your abilities and achievements may be welcomed rather than resented, as long as it's done respectfully. The applicability of this principle can vary widely depending on the specific context and the individuals involved.

Everyone has insecurities. When you show yourself in the world and display your talents, you naturally stir up all kinds of resentment, envy, and other manifestations of insecurity. This is to be expected. You cannot spend your life worrying about the petty feelings of others. With those above you, however, you must take a different approach: when it comes to power, outshining the master is perhaps the worst mistake of all.
