Idk if the aspect ratio is different or not but the show definitely does look and feel more expensive and cinematic, it feels like a streaming service show
Exactly it feels much more like the Blacklist. It’s definitely going to help Law and Order stay relevant. SVU is starting to show its age and not in a good way with the new cinematography.
This has got to be THE best theme intro of any Law & Order series. It sounds epic. And it sounds like it could have been the theme music for either a Batman movie or some kind of Marvel movie. I give it two thumbs up!!
Ok guys I am OBSESSED with Organized Crime's theme song, it's like version 3.0 of the L&O theme where they made it so much more epic, powerful and full and it's just so amazing I'm freaking out. I made this my ringtone (slightly problematic because I'll never answer my phone in order to listen to it), I'm playing it on repeat. Obsessed. Congratulations to Mike Post on an amazing job
@@ryancaughill5662 indeed RIP I thought at first when Bald guy (name eludes me) offered to "bury" her he was gonna do something sneaky to save her or remove the blanks that he loaded Jr's gun with >
Wow....the drums push the violins which push the whole orchestra to a great crescendo...like a symphony in under 1 minute. I could take 5 minutes of this great music by a very talented composer. Thank you.
I cannot believe how fucking incredible this intro is. I wanted to cry after seeing/hearing it for the first time. This is a fucking masterpiece. It's cinematic and the original law and order theme song is woven in so beautifully. Who is the genius who did this.
Read down to the British composer who wrote the score. Did one awesome job. From the first bars of the theme song I am hooked on this series. Well, I love all the Law & Order series. Dun Dun!!! www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/1439034/law-and-order-organized-crime-what-is-the-law-and-order-organized-crime-theme-song
@@voyager619sd for some reason Ruth Barrett is receiving the recognition for this theme song when the credits clearly state that she wrote the Music whilst the Main Title Theme is composed by Mike Post.
@@evaburnz Everything I find agrees. Ruth took his work and created the updated version with a new spin, a cover version to better fit the new program. Similar to a remix. Looking forward to Season 2.
Just about and the ironic thing about it was that Stabler used to be the main protagonist of Law & Order Special Victims Unit before he left and Benson became the main protagonist.
2021 was a big year for Law and Order fans. The original show came back to NBC after an 11 year hiatus and Elliot Stabler returned to the L&O universe and got his own show in the process. BTW, I've seen the previous few episodes of the latest season of Organized Crime and I can safely say that this show is amazing. I really hope NBC doesn't cancel L&O OC.
My father tends to fast forward through SVU's intro because we've heard it so many times, and he's started to do the same for OC...needless to say I actually asked him to go back so I could listen. This shit's epic.
I’m not going to lie I’ve always felt so nostalgic listening to the original SVU theme and I had my doubts that Organized Crime’s theme would be good. Man this exceeded my expectations. It fits Elliot so well. It is powerful and commands respect just like Elliot. Love it!
Absolutely love, this new version of the iconic theme. It knocks my previous favorite theme from Law & Order: Trial by Jury(later used by L & O: Criminal Intent) to 2nd place. Now, we just need the opening narration by Steven Zirnkilton!
What makes this so awesome is the way the track starts with the minimalist driving beat followed by the strings crescendo then the punch to the face of the horns. Very well done. It tells you the show will be about subterfuge, escalating tension and then hard hitting action. Which it is, for those who have seen it. Epic.
@@SN-gs5kg Agreed! Voight has a hard core side to him but he cares which makes his character so interesting. Stabler is the same way but voight...is not the one to be messed with. Love them both.👍🏾
"In the nation's largest city, the vicious and violent members of the criminal underworld are hunted down by the brave, dedicated detectives of the Organized Crime Control Bureau. These are their stories."
It sounds to me like the Law & Order Trial by Jury theme, originally reused for later seasons of Criminal Intent... hit the weight room & has returned pumped up. Like it was remixed by whomever does FBI (CBS) score.
For some reason this reminds me Watch Dogs where Aiden is taking down a whole crime syndicate by himself to find out who killed his niece in a drive by, Elliot stabler here has that vibe where he's doing everything he can to take down a crime syndicate by himself to avenge his wife and make them pay.. The theme song is badass and has that vibe going on with a man who's going to do what he has to do to protect the innocents
Ruth Barret is a genius composer...this theme song for L&O Organized Crime is the best theme song ever...no one will ever beat it. Listen to it 10 times and you will hear different nuances each time. Someone said 'moved to tears' - oh yes, I get it...between that and an orgasm.
This is by far the all time best Law and Order theme music. I wish I could get it as my ringtone. When I hear this theme music, I can't help but think of this actor named Oscar Torre who played a mob boss named Vinny Malone in the recently ended series The Haves and the Have Nots. He would be perfect on this show. 👍👍
It is being reported that NBC has cancelled "Law & Order: Organized Crime" after 4 seasons. In a high-profile shake-up, NBCUniversal's streaming service, Peacock, has picked up "Law & Order: Organized Crime" for a 5th season. "FBI", "FBI: International", "FBI: Most Wanted", "Chicago Med", "Chicago Fire", "Chicago P.D.", "Law & Order", and "Law & Order: SVU" have all been renewed for the 2024-2025 season.
Get up!! We got $#*! to do like......Make my bed, wash dishes and do another zoom call...🙄This theme music 🎶 is so hype... Am I the only one feeling lit right now?! Episodes have me binging already.....
Imagine if this show did not exist. This would be the perfect theme for the Law & Order revival if that still happened and the opening was even in the style of this show's opening. Someone should do a fan-opening of the L&O revival season with this show's theme. They updated the original's opening and it looks like crap, coming off very cheaply made like a fan did it. They were best using the original one with those nice 3D shots of the cast members when they're credited and the updated shots of the buildings and that's about it.
“In the nation’s largest city, the vicious and violent members of the underworld are hunted by the detectives of the Organized Crime Control Bureau. These are their stories.”
Maybe me and my mom will watch this and I can see Stabler again God I haven’t seen him in a while I’ve usually watch the episodes of Law and order SVU on my DVD player a.k.a. Xbox
for some reason Ruth Barrett is receiving the recognition for this theme song when the credits clearly state that she wrote the Music whilst the Main Title Theme is composed by Mike Post. Also, Dylan McDermott is a seriously cunning and sinister, megalomaniac of a villain... perfectly casted for the role!
when i saw the tv teaser for this i thought how awesome is Elliot back on svu but oh wow it's even better always liked Elliot :) lol and had 2 tell to tell ppl like my mom right away lol thought they could have used the trial by jury theme but i guess they did give it to criminal intent towards the end
