It's interesting that the top US Universities are interested in an applicants' extra-curricular activities. Here in the UK Oxford and Cambridge make it clear that they have NO interest in an applicant's extra-curricular accomplishments, nor will they ask about them or consider them - their priority is to attract world-class academics. Evidence of "supra-curricular" activities - that is deeper research and extended study of academic subjects relevant to your proposed course is very influential as it is evidence of a passion for the subject and commitment to academic excellence.
I spent my time in college making the most out of every single opportunity, while balancing out time to sleep and have fun. IT WAS HARD!!! Everyone has their priorities, mine happens to be school. I hope this channel can shed more light on how to get real results people are looking for, while having a life filled with love from friends and family.
Hi! Why did you choose to submit a CV as opposed to a Resumé? Did you obtain graduate a degree prior to applying for law school? I am currently applying as an undergrad and am submitting a resumé but am not sure if i should also include a CV. Thank you!
Thank you for the question - CV & Resume are seemed to be used interchangeably. The important thing is to include your education, research, activity & work history, so just one document should be sufficient
Hi Emmanuel. sent my email to you about resume template 11 days ago due to not having an Instagram account. Let me know if I need to send again. thanks
Blah blah blah 😑 yeah whatever. Now let’s talk about the really important stuff. I as a most observant RU-vid viewer couldn’t help but notice your Twilight Zone poster. As a somewhat intelligent Harvard Law student I’m sure that you know that Rod Serling’s company was Cayuga Productions. And of course, which Ivy League school is high above Cayuga waters ?? Therefore I can only conclude this entire video as a metaphor for the Ivy League. You’ve got the Harvard guy talking about how much he knows and the Cornell guy in the background yucking everything up. Hey, don’t blame me. You’re the one that put the poster on your wall.
You’re so unnecessarily extra. Just let someone be an intelligent Harvard kid and like twilight zone/Rod Sterling. That’s what’s so great about an art like film, anyone can like whatever they like for their own particular reason. A subjective world where people like yourself can’t argue with facts on why they can’t like it or why their video must be metaphorical because of who you think they are or should be.
Actually, here’s the real lesson our precocious maestro is teaching us … take your God-given profession seriously, but don’t take yourself too seriously. I anticipate an impactful career for you. Maybe like RBG, Cornell undergrad. Great 👍 video. And all you boys and girls out there … DO try this at home !!!
