This was a lot different from my law school experience as I went to school at night while having a day job to avoid the debt. I lived off rice and beans the entire time haha

As a law student, for research I prefer putting the articles on speech mode (on Mac) and it really helps with maintaining your reading speed

Do you read along as it’s speaking? Or do you listen while you do other things

@@nanaesio.nyarkoh2858 I prefer reading along with the speech. It ensures 100% focus on the topic. If you do something else alongside, then you won't be actively listening and that will just waste your time.

I have both Lexis and Westlaw, I find Westlaw is more comprehensive in terms of cases Federal/state etc, also Westlaw provides a casebrief provision which Lexis does not.

don't let people discourage you. I'm in my final year of law and I honestly expected it to be a lot more difficult. If you stay on top of your workload, you've got a knack for academic writing and like reading you'll be fine.
