Lawl Nova: Toon Waluigi's Classic Mode

Holy shit, bravo my dude, huge bravo! This was such a fun classic mode! The animations here were so fun and fluid I had to rewatch a couple of times to try and catch everything! Seeing everyone fight is so enjoyable and every battle shows off something new for these characters. Every detail about this video I love greatly, every new Nova video reminds me of why I love Nova so much. And I love all the new stuff too, from Bipper to the newcomers (and the rival’s voice actress, nice performance!) Can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for Nova!

Very impressive! Toon Waluigi already gives enough material to make him unique, but this Classic Mode video showed me how his attacks make him stand out from everyone else, especially the grabs and throws. Also liked the Fighting Ñoba Team segment, complete with its own stage alt, as well as the Bipper fight, and Waluigi's winning quotes. I also praise both voice actors for their work in the video, since it makes Nova stand out from the other spinoffs and gives the characters new identities while retaining their personalities. Overall, spectacular work and I can't wait to see more Nova videos!

HOOOOOOOO BOY, this was impressive as all fuck. From what is quite possibly the most ridiculous character in Nova came one of the most ridiculously good Lawl videos in all of its history. The combos, the mix-ups, the reads, all made my competitive based mind orgasm. The inclusion of things like the Game Over screen from Takeshi's Challenge/Toilet in Wonderland and Bipper as an alternative to Dipper were also fun little touches. The animation overall is smoother than ever and I love Katie Tiedrich's voice (and the fact that she's next). This has already replaced the update patch as my favorite Lawl Nova video and this may just be one of my favorite Lawl videos to date as well. You keep on improving Skap and that's what makes you such an impressive member of this small community. Also, a tier list for Nova wouldn't sound like such a bad idea now would it? :y

[Spoilers ahead] I love this. This is probably by far my favourite Nova video. This series has come a long journey until this point, and it featured some very good editing, as well as nice unique ideas like Noba Multi-Man Melee and Bipper. It was very intense journey for sure and it was nice to see Dolan's attacks this time. I am looking forward to Toon K. Rool and Katie Tiedrich, her voice actor is pretty talented!

This was a great pre-birthday gift (even though it wasn't intended as such). Also, pretty sure Waluigi could've air dodged Jade's up air then go in for the kill, but then we wouldn't get Bipper.

Did you get tripped during the creation of the video? The first fight had enough bizarre imagery that made me double-check. And from there it gets better. I haven't been blown away from an animation not made by "proper animation software" (I mean, Pivot is very limited) since Davidsillo Animations. The fight with four characters was unbelievable. This took long, but it was worth it. It raises the bar a lot and shows that software is not a problem if you know how to use it.

What a simple, yet brilliant idea for a phase. Rivals for the older cast could easily make for some fun and creative movesets. As for the Classic Mode, there was a lot to love. From the top notch voice acting (Lawl can always benefit from moar Pigsaw, oh and Raerock did well to). to the sleek as ice animation, to that excellent use of April Fool's Characters (such a belle display of jokes), I'd say all of the hours dedicated to this passion project paid off in spades. Well, I don't want to take up any more of your time, and everyone else has pretty much summed this video up nicely, so I'll end it with how I think this Classic Mode is in general: WAHderbar, or WAHderful, which one's punnier? (Edit) Forget the puns! I almost forgot to say, nice job making a Lawl Classic Mode that's fun for both types of players, and thanks for making December 2017 all the lawlier (like merrier but with moar Lawl).

Alright it's Waluigi Time! This beats Doof's Classic Mode by a landslide with wonderfully animated combat, funny dialogue between Waluigi and his rivals, including this... new girl, and all around this was worth the wait! :)

*watches video* ENIGMA LOVES THIS. This has to be the most complete classic mode i have ever seen. Not only do we see almost every battle on screen with no skipping, which gives you the feel that you are the one playing, but we also see new and exciting stuff like the sudden introduction of Bipper and the fight against Team Ñoba (which allowed us to see a 1 vs. 4+ match with so many possibilities). Not to mention that the animation is at its finest yet, to the point that it's imposible to tell this was made in Pivot. I never'thoguht i would like this better than Toon DK starring the classic mode, but this video made Toon Waluigi as my new main, and i'm looking forward to Katie Tiedrich, the definitive Toon K. Rool moveset, and the entirety of the Rivals Era. All in all, a superb classic mode. It makes me want to get back to Lawl pronto.

Better than the first one, principally i think this is one of the mos OP characters in Lawl Nova, appart of Jade, and the new rivals looks so good, i dont know who is the first one but im specially hyped for Toon K. Rool

You actually had me thinking this was real, or at least, the battle segments were actually implemented & stitched between edited cutscenes.

The elevator transition between battles is inspired by Eggo Mania (Egg Mania: Eggstreme Madness in the US) for the Gamecube. I'm beyond disappointed in myself for recognising that, because it means I admit to having owned Eggo Mania.
