Some people may start with a 200 gallon unit mounted in a truck bed or on a trailer. There are 300 and 400 gallon pickup spray rig setups. There are also many different setup options for a flatbed truck such as an Isuzu NPR. Graham is probably going to be the high line of pricing. It's not cheap but it is done correctly and it's not done cheaply. I've owned eight units from Graham that I acquired from a competitor we purchased, and I've never had better more reliable spray equipment. Be advised - This is a definite get what you pay for situation but be prepared to pay for it because it is going to be somewhat higher price then the cheap catalog order stuff, but again it will be done correctly. Good example being most of the catalog stuff is all jet agitation no matter how big the tank is. You try blending urea in the fall or early spring in cold weather w jet agitation... and take that extra hour a day it's going to take you over 90 days or 120 days...you could have been home with the family in one season for what you would pay to have mechanical agitation, which is what Graham will give you. Just a few examples like that, and others such as true neoprene or stainless steel valves not cheap plastic but looks like a New York sewer after one season, putting lock washers on or lock nuts I'm just basic metal shrouds and other parts so they won't vibrate off the first month. There are many ...from Bean pumps versus the cheap junk like Hypro that the catalog guys will sell you very quickly. With a catalog unit you will quickly find the hyper d30 pump on there, which I had bought one that was already dry rotted before it was ever used it set on the warehouse floor so long. You'll be replacing baffles and parts in that Hypro before mid season when it starts leaking, whereas that bean pump will be a while before you even think about it and it's much easier to do. You have to determine if aggravation in the field from cheap parts and cheap workmanship is worth more than just paying for that upfront and having it work everyday. Grahmd equipment you just crank it, maintain it and use it. It rarely fails and certainly doesn't fail because of some cheap plastic part. IF... you're a once a month or a couple of days a month landscaper treating your own maintenance accounts then get the cheap catalog job. It'll serve you fine. IF you're serious about it and you want to perform and deliver the quality service for a serious profession, this is the difference between stainless steel surgical instruments in surgery, and trying to use a pocket knife for the same thing. I'm not saying anything they won't say to you directly. God bless Charlie , & Max.

Thank you for great videos, one question,how to you mix your chemical in one tank when you're dealing with 3 different warm season grass types.
@lawncarelife
@lawncarelife 3 года назад
I have a split tank which helps with that. Another option is to do all of one type of grass one day. Then switch over to another mix for another grass-type the next day.. a third option is just to use products that are safe for all three grass types

Hey there Jason, just wanna start by saying keep up the awesome lawn care videos! They are very helpful. I am curious if you might have an opinion as to what I should do to the wood flooring on my enclosed trailer to help the longevity of the overall floor and also make it easier to clean? Just purchased it and trying to get the whole setup completely the way I need it in my head before jumping into it and throwing things together. This is the one thing that's troubled me, any ideas? I will be doing lawn care out of this trailer, so not much more than a mower or two, some hand tools, and stick equipment, blowers, etc. Possibly very small amounts of debris.

My current truck has a flat bottom on it with some type of special coating. I'm not really sure what it is but feel confident it will improve the longevity
