The ironic part about the pants is i am a paramedic who wears 5.11s but I started wearing the wranglers during the summer because the 5.11s are so hot 😂
Yeah I tried the 5.11 today and they don’t fit me well, my thighs are to big lol you’re a paramedic! That’s so awesome! Thank you for your service much appreciated!!! A job I know I could never stomach!
great tips man! clean ass edges, looks great. What are your thoughts on lawncare as a side hustle? Currently work a full time job as a data analyst, so i'm in an office most of the time, and would love a side hustle that gets my body moving and gets me outside.
Tbh it makes a better side hustle. It can be a full time gig but as I stated in the video you need to put in some serious work to make it! It’s not very easy to do. Also more and more ppl are starting all the time so it’s becoming very saturated
Ah man. I was going to try those pants next 😂. I have been using similar from costco. They carry different brands seasonally so not always availiable. They held up so far.
Thank you man. Thank YOU! You rock :) I was just about to ask you all sorts of questions about how much I should spend to start, I have non-commercial equipment - hand tools and mowers (riding and walk behind). That are in great shape. I was worried people wouldn't 'take me seriously.' I think at the end of the day they won't care what equipment I work with, they'll care that I do a great job every time, on time. I believe we're in the same state, although, I'm in a bit more of a populated area, my only remaining question for you is when starting is it a good idea to spend an amount within reason on Facebook Ads or Google Ads? I guess one(two?) more as well are, do you do any fertilization? And do you aerator lawns at all? Thanks again!
You’re very welcome! You’re equipment will be just fine, you would laugh at the amount of clients I’ve had over the years that didn’t even know the mowers I had exists lol they would often ask me about my equipment so using a push mower or the box store mowers will be just fine. Also tbh I don’t ever use fb yes I have a business page but I don’t use ads I’ve noticed fb doesn’t attract the best clients, but definitely make a page and throw some pics and post of from time to time cause it’s free. But google don’t buy ads just do the best you can to get reviews from clients or people you did work for. The past few years I’ve outsourced all my fertilizer, weed control to another in town company and it worked well but next year I’ll be doing all my own cause it’s good easy money. Also no I don’t do any thatching or aerating in the past 5 years I’ve gotten maybe 10 calls for those services so I haven’t found a reason to buy the tools and just don’t offer the service, my main cash income comes from leaf clean ups and mulch! Spend all your money on getting a good leaf rig and do the best you can to learn mulch
I like mowing first and then trimming. I use an edger about once a month if needed. Also I collect stickers. Do you have any? I don't have any of my own.
