Doc, something I’m sure we’d all love to see on your website is a breakdown of how much of what product exactly you mix in a gallon and how many sq ft it should cover ect. A breakdown would be great as a quick reference! I’ve been bringing my Bermuda lawn back to looking good since I’ve lived in my new house thanks to your videos. You have been a huge help!

Not even close to the worst lawn. My neighbor is so lazy that he never mows his lawn or cleans anything. He has had multiple city orders to mow his lawn after having his weeds reach over 2 feet tall.
@@1165slugman I'm in the process of trying to repair my lawns and I feel your pain however, in the tenants defence it's ultimately not their lawn, they simply pay off the mortgage for another person who cba to pay a gardener to fix it. Most tenants are treated and thought of (as demonstrated by yourself) as second rate. Personally I'd have a chat with the home owners and ask them to either pay a gardener or get off their lazy arses and tidy it up. After all, I don't do the gardening for hotels I frequent, do you?
I was really getting into lawn care last year for the first time in my life and life happened and it got put on the back burner. This video inspires me to give it another shot this year, because this is definitely my lawn, maybe worse.
Just moved into a rental with a horrible lawn. So many mole tunnels, so assuming grubs and therefore insects. The front yard is garbage weeds, can't even tell what kind of grass it's supposed to be. Found these how-to-with-Doc series and am hopeful to learn to repair.
I have Bermuda sod that was payed on top of predominately red dirt and some top soil, I just put Scott’s weed and feed down and watered it by hand in areas where it’s primarily red dirt and barely grass. Just built a new home, was so excited to start fresh with new landscaping that I had been planning for over a year. And has you and others understand the lawn is the foundation of the beautiful plantings. I had the sod installed , it was doormat, so the house is done and the yard is in and it starts greening up and it’s full of some type of grass/weed called Dallas grass. So, now what. I had it treated and results. Would love to have some ideas. Thank you . Your lawn is beautiful.

I’m in central NY and our old place oddly had a large section of Bermuda. Stuff was amazing, I really didn’t have to fight weeds there very often as the Bermuda was so thick it choked them out. It also went dormant in the fall, way sooner than the cool season turf grasses I had everywhere else. Seeing that much weed load in Bermuda is crazy to me.
I want to know how much manual weed pulling he did, or raking of weeds he did to pull out the weeds? I can tell already this video is going to make me watch every video on the website.
Question once you put the weed killer down and wait the 10 days for it kill the weeds what's the time period between the humic dg and the super juice..I'm in Ga like you and our weather has been crazy. I'm not even sure when to apply the weed killer lol. Trying to get my yard looking good majority of it is weeds and have paid people to get it looking good with no results I'm satisfied with so I'm going to give a try with your guidance
"Worlds worst lawn" Hahah brother if you think this is the worlds worst, you would drop stone cold dead in my driveway. XD I hope I can get mine looking half as good as yours. I think mine is st. augustine (it has runners like bermunda but the leaves are wider) but I dont know enough to be sure and I dont even know where to start. We're first time home owners so I dont have knowledge or any of these tools. Hopefully I can learn enough from these videos to make something happen cause this spring has brought SO MANY weeds I didnt have last summer when we bought the home. It looks terrible!
I JUST moved into a new rental home in a GREAT neighborhood, and the lawn at this house looks EXACTLY like the before pictures! If I'm not mistaken though, the difference is that this lawn started as a St. Augustine lawn. I spoke with the HOA secretary and she said that they don't have any requirements for the TYPE of grass that's in the yard, just that it's nice, so I'm VERY seriously thinking about razing the whole damn thing and seeding with Bermuda grass instead. I'm in Land O Lakes, FL and I may go that route, unless you have another suggestion for killing this entire lawn of weeds while NOT killing what every little St. Augustine grass is left?
Doc, my back yard looks worse than this yard. This past spring I started to plant Bermuda back there and I lacked on keeping up with the weeds. Now I still have about 30% Bermuda back there that is visible. Next spring 2019 I plan to use your methods that you used on this lawn. Will I be able to use super juice and seed? Has this been tested yet. Let me know I am curious. Also can I throw down my weed killer that you used at this time of the year? We live in the panhandle of Florida. How do I know what kind of grass I have? We just bought our home in West Texas, and its weed central! It’s awful. The parts where grass is growing are silky, long and dark green.
It varies for me year to year but I get henbit real bad so I scalp my lawn and put a pre emergent down and recovers for a few years but the henbit always comes back with a vengeance lol I will be scalping my lawn this weekend.
Hi Doc, I stumbled across your page a little over a week ago when looking into overseeding. So happy to find you. My yard got ignored when I was out of town a ton for a couple years. I haven't been able to get it back on my own but, now I have a defined plan with you. I tried the Bayer Advanced Season Long Weed Control for Lawn on a sunny day 8 days ago and it has been overcast with rain and cold days most of last week. I'm not seeing it dying off as I hoped. Can I put down another dose of it now or if I still don't see major improvement at the 10-day mark (Monday)? The grass is still dormant. I am determined to reclaim my yard which used to be fantastic. I did water it in and actually went a tad heavy with it (it said 2.5 oz, I did 3). Thank you so much. I'm tired of checking the mail at night because I'm embarrassed.
Hello Doc: Looks very similar to what I have right now. I need to watch your super juice video. It seems that the application that we did for the non selective herbicide has left it like a brownish color like in your video. It is thinned out too.
Excellent! Once you applied the broad leaf killer, what did you use to hit the crabgrass? Sprayed or granular? I have 35,000 SF of this same nightmare.
my lawn looks more like paddock grass, full of weeds and now its winter it has Cape Weed comming back. Its a sea of yellow flowers when it goes to seed, but its everywere else too,

So we recently bought a home and since I’ve never actually worked on grass since I lived in an apartment before. I have a couple of questions? How often are you supposed to spray weeds/apply the weed killer. We’ve killed most of the other weeds but crabgrass is still there

I live in Austin, Texas. My grass has been neglected for 20+ years and it is probably covered 95% by weeds. Mainly by clover. I bought the products you recommended in your ugly loan video. However, I would like to seed it. I bought the Blackjack seed you recommended. Since we are already in October, do you think I should reseed during this time of the year? Temperatures are on the 50' at night and 80"s during day time. Do you recommend doing the treatment and seeding at the same time? Or should I wait until spring time?Thank you for videos. How would I go about mixing the super juice on a larger scale Doc? I have a lot of acreage so the small individual tanks are just not practical for me. Say a 100 gallon tank. Great vids, I love watching them for tips on bringing my property back to life.
Hey Doc trying to bring my bermuda grass lawn back from the dead in terms of weeds. I seem to have just about every weed there is for my region. Either way, I've reviewed your suggested weed prevention and have found that I have Dallisgrass which, as far as I can tell, none of your suggested weed killers covers that weed. Can you suggest something?

My friend's bermuda lawn looks just like this weed. I put down spray bio advanced season long weed killer. it didnt have much effect. then last week I put down image weed killer and I see some effects. starting this week I am starting super juice weekly on his lawn and mowing every week a little too and bag out clippings. but now he has some DALLISGRASS weed how can I kill that? in my yard I have literally 5 dallis grass spots total and its like just 1 knot each place. how can I kill it so it doesnt grow again...pre-emergents were applied on time twice this year and yet dallis grass and poa annua came through.....Could you help me please? Also super juice application and mixing rate is kind of unclear....when you say 1 cup of super juice fertilizer...are you talking about that FULL CONTAINER that you are using or actualy cup measurements that are marked in the container.

I just had Bermuda Sod laid in July. Well I went out of town for 3 weeks and came back to it full of crabgrass like every 12 inchs I swear. Its September so should I just cut and put a pre emergent on or do this system: Crabgrass, Humic and Super Juice treatments? Any help please.

So trying wrap my head around the time frame and maybe some of you in the comments can help me out. I did a pre-emergent last fall with a 10-10-10 basic fertilizer. Unfortunately life had my mind busy with other things and I didn't do a pre emergent this spring or basic fertilizer. I've got a ton of weeds, mainly crab grass, but some other common weeds out there, too. I bought weed killer for crab grass ( spray ) PGF Complete, and Super Juice. In Oklahoma, weather will rain Thur-Sat but tomorrow ( WED ) I have a window of most the day no rain. Temps today are 50's but 70-80's rest of the week. Sun will be sunny at 80 or so and the following week as well. So should I weed kill wed. then fert sunday and go from there or am I missing something? Thanks

Great job! What advice (or video) do you have for lawns with mixed grass. I’ve beaten back much of the weeds thanks to you but I have centipede and Bermuda, and although I’m happy it’s growing what do I do? Just be happy it’s grass? Will one take over the other?
Centipede does not like a lot of Fertilizer and Bermuda does...push the fert and Bermuda should win out. Bermuda is very invasive so not sure if it will work by doing the opposite. Post a video of progress 👍🏼
That ain't bad. Wait till you see my lawn, overgrown more than 6 inches long in the backyard. Front yard has bunch of vines, and as well wrapped around my fences.. I'm a new homeowner of the house and the previous owners were a mess! Leaving me all kinds of shits to fix and do.
Hey Doc, I know you use old spray bottles to spray fertilizer and herbicides. Can you spray WDG using one and how do you do it? If not what is the best way to spray them if not?
