Products → www.howtowithd... Doc decides to scarify the newly seeded lawn and reseed due to the thick rye. Then shows the progress on various farm projects including huge irrigation system for the fields and also baby chickens arrive.
I know this answer!!! Roundup (complete lawn coverage) wait 2 weeks. roundup a second time. wait 2 more weeks. Rotortill entire lawn. wait 2 more weeks. reseed Bermuda lawn.
I love your content! Question: I have a 3 year old SOD, and made the mistake of over-seeding with store seed that was full of weed seed. I’m slowly getting rid of the weeds. Anyway to kill the common Bermuda that’s taking over my hybrid Bermuda SOD? Please tell me there is hope!
Any advice what to do in an area with hard clay soil that has seen years of erosion, a moderate slope to your lawn and an over active HOA? Trying to figure out how to scarify the lawn to lay down seed without the next rain washing all the scarred up soil and seed down the gutter. Can't see the HOA accepting one of those roll out seed erosion blankets.
Zoysia grass is really good for slopes. My property has a slope down a slight hill and the zoysia is great for it. I have another side of my lawn near the driveway that has bad erosion and I’m considering installing paver steps/ retaining wall because it goes up into my rose bushes and Jane magnolia tree.
What's up Doc looking good I think it's time to bring back the Good witch 😁 Also it time to change your name to Big Money Doc 💯 Keep up the good work Doc💪💪
Doc, with all of that shade I would of thought you would of thrown out some Zoysia seed along with the Bermuda but then I seem to also recall that you had previously thrown out some Zoysia seed that you had forgotten about.
Doc would you recommend over seeding dead areas of Tifway 419 with common Bermuda? Super sod no longer carries that turf and has since changed it to you TifTuf but the blades and color are different.
@5:00 I've noticed you don't speak about super juice as much lately. I got my 1st bag of it recently for a bermuda rehab "ugly lawn" project. I'm hoping for good results. Great vid Doc
Hey doc, I put a question on your last video about the reel mowers and unlevel yard. Was wondering how they work compared to the traditional mower when it comes to unevenness and scalping. Currently, I have to mow my Bermuda at about 2 to 2 1/2 inches, otherwise I scalp on the uneven parts and leave big circles in the yard. If I were to get a real mower, would I have the same issue? Thanks again for all the info and videos! (Btw, got yard of the month 2 months in a row this year from following your steps! Thanks a ton!)
@@dppisgr81 lol yea I’ve watched that video along with the other 10 he has on leveling! 😂 I was pretty sure he mentioned the horizontal blades are much easier on uneven lawns, but couldn’t remember for sure so figured I’d ask! I watch too many as well! Friends and family call me Doc Jr even hahahaha!
