22:30 I always seem to get the 3 nuts that want to take the stud out on those Hondas and Chondas. I even put blue locktite on them. Does not always help.
Good ol' carb clean. Gotta love them! Looking forward to the Craftsman one next. Hopefully we'll see the old lawnmower sitting out there soon as well? I think you replied to me a little while back saying "ABSOLUTELY", right? 😄
@@TomDobyMowerRepairmy wife watches Price is Right every day. She records it if she has a Dr appointment or anything. And never misses Let’s Make a Deal before that. I have been working from home since the China virus, so I get my dose of Drew and Wayne too.
Curious as to what you are using instead of the tripod. I took your GoPro suggestion and now no extra parts when I’m done! So much easier to learn when I can review how things were before I took them apart and while doing so.
Omg, I hate Kohlers, anyway, remember inside of the spark plug boot, is a resistor, sometime they can go bad, and cause a no start condition, just wanted to share that knowledge.
Older vid I know but it sounded like the flywheel might’ve been a little rusty and the metallic ignition kill brake pad wasn’t cutting the engine off quick enough. What a goofy kill switch setup, eh?
Toooom Doooobyyyy! Hey, Tom! Nice job! I have to install a new pull cord on my recoil. I installed a new plug and coil, took the carb off and gave it a quick clean. Before the pull cord broke, it would only run for about a minute and a half. UGH! I'm about to throw in the towel. Thanks for another great video. Have an awesome day. God bless.
I hate those Koehler 149cc. It is that carb with the vacuum AND the thermal lever. Too complex for what it needs to be. Extra fecal matter to go wrong.
