Had the same one in yesterday one of my neighbours found it dumped.Got it to me to get running again.He was well pleased when i phoned him up and said its alive and ready.

I have a neighbor who just moved in about a year ago and bought a new Husqvarna AWD mower which cost about 600 US and every time he went to mow, he add oil to it. Then one day all the neighbors came out and thought the house was on fire but it was actually the mower smoking. So, I went over there and checked the oil and it was filled to the top. I told him you do not need to put oil in every time you mow. So, I drained some oil out about a pint over. it stopped smoking. Then one day I heard a big bang, He blew up the motor and oil went everywhere. He takes it in for warranty work and they refused to repair it because when the repair guy open the engine it still had over 1 quart of oil in it. He went out and bought a cheaper mower because he said they do not make reliable mowers .

Might be worth setting the valves. Most of the older honda's I've seen, the exhaust valve was always a bit sloppy. It will up the compression a bit and start up with a grandpa pull.

look at a mr funnel brilliant it stops water getting in to the machine when filling , I know it will still absorb water from the air over time the times i have shown customers they had water in the fuel , I have drained there tank put the fuel though the mr funnel and fired the 4 stoke mower straight up on there fuel with the water still in the funnel .

Hi mick,loving all your videos mate. The carb situation....I’ve cleaned my carb for the 1st time but trying to get the jet out I have busted the flat screw head. I ordered a new carb from amazon, but when I got it the carb is back to front (fuel inlet is on the right) . I need one for left fuel inlet as the same one in this vid, if you could point me in the right direction. Would really appreciate your help mate. And as always ,keep up the awesome work ❤

DAMN YOU !!! Its the hottest day of the year and i see your video and cant help but click on it and you are so inspirational that i have to go get my working lawnmower and give it a clean !! I love your videos man but i have a question , what do you think of ultrasonic cleaners for doing carbs? I regard myself as a reasonably competent D.I.Y guy but carbs mystify me , Now what i can see me doing is taking apart a carb and a) putting it back together incorrectly or b) putting it back so it runs rough as anything. So if i put it in as is to an ultrasonic cleaner thus avoiding my incompetence.

Ultrasonics are fantastic.. I use mine a lot of a carb is giving me problems after a manual cleaning..give it a go.. I'm in the hot tub having a BBQ and a beer if you need me lol

Just take the wheel cover off and undo the nut.. then take the wheel off and clean and oil..
