i cried, too when saw him speak in the parliament on youtube on that day. Cuz you can literally feel his sadness . It was quite overwhelming for me to watch as well. I couldn't stop crying for several minutes. Thank you.

I really love Lawrence Wong. He is such a great communicator. I do want Covid-19 to go away but i will miss his task force briefings with the media once this is over. I believe the reason he became emotional that day is because he is human and he has been under a lot of pressure. Watching him speak on tv during his briefings feels very reassuring and safe.

If you dedicated your entire heart and work through it...you will feel what he felt.

After what Hong Kong has just gone thru , I am sure they could finally understand now why Mr Lawrence Wong had cried for the medical staffs...at least Singapore had never experienced thousands of patients sleeping outside hospitals waiting for admission...Carrie Lam should have cried buckets of tears....

He’s exactly the kind of leader and spokesperson Indonesia should have in dealing with Covid-19. Smart, articulate, honest, empathetic, sincere. Very calming and reassuring.

there is no short term fix .yes but.... if you apply fill break for 1-2 week now and let the local cases reduce to few or zero. then reduce the break. Is much much better then, wait until you have few thousand and apply full break ( and exhausted more resoures) . ( apply break now is not short term fix but create a more manageable long term situation) This is the main point think carefully .....You have to apply full break sooner or later ,If you do it later then you got much more death on your hand .........................................Is your choice. I f you apply full break now all those got the viruses (even without symtoms or negative result) will only pass to family and they will go see doctor. You can then dig out all and reset the local very low as you isolate the import cases. this is the only way.. this is why chinese even admin those even with symptoms only at one stage. casue they know even negative result could be carrier laterr!!!

alot of those who clap and cheer just love to make noise, once they have an opportunity to do that, they give all out, supporting the front line workers are just second thougths

If you truly appreciate healthcare workers, please shut down society so new clusters will stop forming, then they can get a well deserved rest. Don't say one thing but do another, while new cases keep climbing. I'm greatly disappointed in the (lack of) government control of domestic cases.

Please call it for what it is stay home order - maybe . The term Circuit breaker is confusing Singaporeans . Call it a stay home directive .. call a spade a spade not some thing else .. A circuit breaker is a Electrical device to solve a electrical problem . Covid 19 spread is not an electrical problem
