So, the lawyer wants the judge to lessen his sentence. But the first woman talked about his family and mom wants him home because she is sad. Where are his merits, oh wait a minute he in in jail because he was found guilty of a crime. This is the biggest waste of the courts time.

THIS ….IS SICKENING…. USIMG THIS PRECIOUS CHILD AS A PLOY… TO GET THIS YOUNG MANS SENTENCE VACATED , OR CHANGED TO SOMETHING LESS🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 REALLY PISSES ME OFF WHEN GROWN AZZ ADULTS STOOP TO THESE LEVELS. CLEARLY THIS YOUNG MAN IS IN PRISON FOR FOUR YEARS FOR COMMITTING CRIMES., HE NEEDS TO BE LEFT IN THERE TO COMPLETE HIS PUNISHMENT… NO EARLY RELEASE. AND, WHERE IS THIS YOUNG MANS FATHER OR POSITIVE MALE ROLE MODELS ?? DOES HE EVEN HAVE ONE ??? SAD SITUATION ALL THE WAY ROUND. POOR LIL GUY (the baby)…..

There is probably a very small percentage of people in the jail that their families don't want them home...

You are very right. I had a family member that went quite a few times for domestic violence and breaking the restraining order many times. No one wanted to or was willing to bail him out. He actually had this random lady that no one had ever met call my mom and try to get her to cosign a bond my mother said no and he had convinced the lady that my dad's cancer diagnosis was why he needed out that my dad was going to die any day this was PRIOR to my dad being placed on hospice he was still doing chemo and we had hope. It was sickening to say the least.

It seems like this motion just got the families hopes up for no reason. I don't know if it was a private lawyer that wanted their money or a PD that can't argue in the first place.

What the hell was that? All of that could have been said before sentencing or in support letters to the Judge. The justice system falls apart if ppl think they can use their influence or children, sick parents etc etc to escape accountability for their actions and choices. Judge Boyd was absolutely correct.

If you take time to use a little common sense I was talking in regards to a positive influence, just having a man in the home does nothing to add to a child success if that man is not a good man, that was my point smh
