Greetings from Kentucky...To start with, I've shot many more LAX rounds than Freedom Munitions but that being said, I haven't had a miss-feed, failure to fire or hiccup with either in flavor in .380, 9mm, 45acp or 45LC.
All guns are different even the same exact gun from the same manufacturer may shoot on ammo better than the other. I use LAX ammo and can say very accurate for target shooting
Definitely looks like Freedom loads theirs very light to cover their butts, except that in itself can be very dangerous for a shooter. The LAX has come a long way on quality and is right on par now with most quality big name brands, but not too hot. Just about perfect and more consistent than Freedom for sure. I buy LAX with just as much confidence as the bigger name brands. Only ever heard of one user having a couple hard primers back quite a while ago now. This was out of thousands fired BTW.
I assume you're asking about slide "racking". Yes there's plenty of real estate to get a good purchase on it (for me anyway). I've never really had any issue with gripping the slide even on my SP-01, and it's quite a bit worse than the P-09 as far as that's concerned. The P-09 has better slide serrations on the rear plus additional serrations on the front of the slide, as well as a rather unique tapering in the contour of the slide (at the front). It is fast becoming my favorite pistol to shoot!
I suppose that's a possibility. Especially since I wasn't bench shooting for extreme accuracy. So I guess, due to a slight bit of additional recoil, I could have opened up my groups a bit with the LAXAMMO.
