For stool softeners, using the brand name Colace, I think of it "lacing" the stool with water.

A cool chicken for sennosides: "say no to sides" ( like cheese fries) because they can cause constipation!

What's the "mode of action" magnesium being a stimulant? Osmotic and stool softeners appear to do the same thing what's the difference?

Metformin tablets was the reason why I had constipation in the first place I ended up changing jobs (less wages) from office to part time office 3 days and 2 days warehouse walking work. A big increase in my walking excercise. That's exactly what I had been doing. Eating Branflakes every morning. I was also taking a lot of senakot tablets. Increased my vegetable intake. With the excercise in my life. My sugar levels dropped dramatically and medication was reduced. And then finally no more medication. And suddenly those hard work in the toilet was gone. Ramadhan fasting taught me how to discipline and control what went in my mouth and hence the body If you are on certain medication, then this video advice will not work for you. You need to change your lifestyle to get off those medications that are giving you the problems in the first place.

Since centuries the optimal manner to overcome not only occasional constipation but chronic constipation too will be taking castor oil. Remember that castor oil is the only laxative that will not work in the intestines by irritating them, but by activating and synthesizing certain substances in the human body. So any habituation of the human body or diminishing laxative effect is absolutely impossible and castor oil is suitable in a special manner for chronic constipation. Take 1 tablespoon (= 15 ml) castor oil early in the morning on an empty stomach and 1 to 2 hours later you will remark its relieving effects.
