Nitin ji please understand that there can be no COMPARISON between SJ and LP since Shankar Jaikishan are yards ahead of LP in terms of melodious music , variety and popularity.

@@akhtarjaipuri1878 Yes I fully agree with you akhtar sahab but everything in this world has its expiry date, SJ has always been my most favourite music directors but at the same time one has to accept the fact that LP is the duo who ruled the film music for longest duration of time and they are commercially most successful so far.

Yeh Pahla geet nahain hai. Yaat kijiye 1955 main aaye film yasmeen main taver naqvi ka likha aur CRamchader ka tyar gana 'Bechain karne wale tuh bhi na chain paye, Teri hi bewafai tujh ko lahoo rulaye ..

I would not agree to this ... Laxmikant-Pyarelal was firmly established after the release of Movie Dosti 1964... any song in movie Dosti is a LEGEND and well sung by Mohammad Rafi

@@RahulSharma-ry2pg there were three camps who had healthy camaraderie,namely RDB camp, LP camp & Kalyan ji Anand ji camp and at times they send their musicians if at all required and if any musician of any specific instrument is not available, since laxmikant ji and Pancham Da had proximity Pancham Da played harmonica (mouth organ) for him in the songs of Dosti and for background music harmonica was played by Milon Dasgupta. 👌🏻
