He is applying his music and experiences with Xiang Yu’s story! A lot goes in this mv and there’s more info about it online! Ugh too much explaining! This Mv cost $1.4 million usd and took about 6 months to make! The palace in the background is the Qin palace! It’s in Hengdian world studios I believe and it is the largest filming location in the world! Many Chinese dramas and movies are filmed here! If anyone has watched princess weiyoung u will know that u have recognized the background from just watching the teaser lol. My mom is chinese and when I showed her the MV it was hard for her to understand the Chinese in the beginning! China has many dialects in each province and county!! I can agree the song isn’t something I could jam to on the daily, but I could definitely listen to it while watching the MV. AMAZING effects and scenes was honestly one of the coolest videos I’ve seen in a while. Also been meaning to say it but the new intro is really nice, props to whoever made that one. I’ve been waiting for his new album LIT to came out since he mentioned it and giving out teasers along with concept photos. It’s finally here OMG someone pinch me? I’m upsettingly rusty on Chinese history because it looks like he clipped out last half of a movie then breaks into singing/rapping. There’s so much but I don’t where to start since I still can’t get over how darn hardcore LIT our boy is being with a DRAGON and KILLER VISUALS no less 👀🔥while trying to expand China to the world through music even though local fans and anti fans don’t want that to happen 🙄 So in MV he is fighting against the ones (JADE) trying to keep the changes from happening. FUN FACT: he also plays the male & female roles.
