To my deep regret, I never truly appreciated her amazing gifted talent, her golden,pure voice and ability to interpret songs and in her unique way. It's An emotional watch , even the orchestra members are appreciative and can't help appaudlng. It's a tour De force.

Wasn't a massive fan.Until now at her passing.Didnt truly listen to her rich canon of work until now.Didnt take the time I guess. A truly remarkable talent.Her interpretive, evocative voice sends shivers down your spine. Ireland's Kate Bush maybe? Unfair to compare the two. But both,sublime,brilliant talents. Sinaed the full Irish, Kate had an Irish mother. Few,if any could sing this song and do it justice. Sinaeds interpretation is perfect.Her golden rich voice to the fore. Courageous and a complete original. A black dark cloud hangs over Ireland this late July morning. But, what an amazing legacy she has left.

Sadly, some people I know are not into giving condolences regarding Sinead when suicide or mental health or drugs are involved in someone’s death. It’s so sad. I agree to some extent not to announce it to the world. But I also disagree with ignoring or making it something that is so shameful that no one will discuss… so many mothers and relatives of those lost to anything related to drugs or mental health suffer in silence. They don’t seek anyone to talk about it and blame themselves. Our Imams “leaders” should be giving their condolences. Recognizing that she had hard life and that she tried to find God. To me this is a person that had an open heart despite the abuse she encountered as a child that affected her for life… clearly she was looking for an outlet- the singing beautiful soulful songs, studying religions/ becoming an ordained minister … she was trying to rid herself of pain. Your head now lays and you are at rest. 😢

She is a real artist and not a product. And as a real artist her emotions are bigger, more violent and she can barely control them. She expresses herself best in her songs therefore you should not judge her from who she is but from what she does. Please consider what she's been doing for more than 20years now.
