But jokes aside, this feature will be really helpful! I used to just group the layers together and move the group layer. This is a really exciting update!! AM will always be #1 editing app😎
Be better off calling it the root of a tree and everything else is a subdirectory. To make another parent in the subdirectory just rename it stepparent or root #2. 😬
No it’s not. The annual subscription is $79 a year (stupid affordable) That’s about $6 or so a month. I don’t mean this disrespectfully.. but you must not have a career in design/creation *OR* you must not be doing any serious work in the design field *otherwise* you will instantly know - time is money and features that help you complete projects faster, is a blessing especially in the mobile space. About two hours of my work.. covers this yearly fee. If you want something similar to this (without subscription) also keep in mind way less features, but at least one time pay 👉 the first is the better option: *1. toonsquid* *2. procreate dreams* *3. flippaclip*
Its A Good Feature For Motion Designers Like Me! Now We Need RSMB(ik it feels impossible to add) And Time Remap I Guess Hope You Guys Add A Custom 3D Shapes Also Copy Keyframes I Think That Would Be A Great Addition To Alight Motion :) Also Poggers To The Narrator!
It's not easy to put RSMB on mobile.It's a heavy effect because the amount of blur.Even on After Effects take a lot of time just to render it (Depends on PC spec)

@Alight Motion there is a bug when i use "tiles" and move my picture to the right for example then there are lines i don't really know how to explain that but i really don't like that but i love AM so much and i want to make this but i can't. Please fix this...😔

Hello! Everything in our videos was animated with Alight Motion. We use Procreate sometimes for drawing, we use Mobizen for screen recording on Android, and audio editing is usually done elsewhere. (It depends case by case.) We even make the video thumbnails on Alight Motion for most of the videos! :)
As someone who can’t pay for premium, it kinda sucks that I had to wait this long to not be able to use any of the new effects :( the one month free trial is nice, but after that I’ll still be stuck with the old (free) effects. Camera is premium, Null is free but it’s basically useless without parent layer (premium) 😭 Regardless, I’m still happy for the new effects, just a bit disappointed that I can’t use them for any longer
My alight motion laggs a lot when I add some effects... It lags so bad that audio starts to break and vid screen stucks and sometimes my device crashes too.. my device is average with decent processor and 6gb ram..

hi alight motion, why my old projects have missing files? I got pop-ups saying that the file might be deleted or the file's location might be moved to other location. I never delete stuffs that I use for edits or move them to other locations. I also got a popup saying the original linked project/element that I used is no longer available or something. The thing is, I make the element in the exact edit, so I don't understand how some layers are missing when it wasn't even linked with my other elements/projects. please fix this problem alight motion. I'm used to exporting my old projects because most of them are incomplete but now I can't even complete my old projects at all :( I don't even change my phone, so I'm not sure if my phone has anything to do with this problem.
Hello! There are two different things happening here. We'll explain the best we can, and give information on how to contact support if needed. 1. Missing Files. For any projects or elements that you make on your phone, we do not make a copy of the media that you use. This is done because space is very limited on phones. So, if the media in your camera roll gets edited, moved, or deleted, then Alight Motion may not be able to access it anymore. If you didn't move the files yourself, it's possible that your device may have, if your device copies files to cloud storage when it gets full, this can happen. 2. Original Linked Project Message: When you export a project, any elements you use in it are exported with it. This message is just to let you know that Alight Motion can't find the original elements, and it'll be recreating them in your project. This can happen if you delete the original element or edit it in any way. You shouldn't lose any information, it's just that the elements in the project won't be linked to the original elements anymore. If after these two explanations, you feel that something is not working correctly, please open the side menu and tap Email Support so we can assist you! (Please check our automatic response, and it doesn’t help with your issue, please be sure to follow the instructions at the bottom of it so you get through to a human being!) I downloaded Alight Motion 4.0.4 but there is no 60 fps option, whereas in previous versions of Alight Motion it can go up to 60 fps, why isn't it? Is it because of my device or a bug? if it's a bug hope it's fast repaired

Alight Motion please fix your bugs in your app. I was just having a mental break down yesterday on your app since it deleted a part of my edit and it took me almost an hour to recreate it! Also the app sometimes kicks me out and an edit I’ve been working on keeps on doing that when I try to export it. Other than those problems that make me want to delete the app, the app is pretty good. I would like it if you added a velocity tool so I don’t have to go to video star for it.

Is there a way to “unparent” layers? Bc I parented some of mine and I forgot I did, and when I went to animate it again I couldn’t unparent or animate it bc half of the body was completely connected.. I don’t have motivation to restart 😭
Hello! It is possible to unparent your layers. If you want to unparent a child layer you’ve already parented, tap the Layer Parent button, and then select “none” from the menu that drops down. Hope this helps!
