Meow - Episode: 156
On The Same Day‘Shot’ Controversial Ad Was Aired On TV, A 17 year old Girl was Gang Raped In Hyderabad. The emotions portrayed by the girl in the advertisement would have been exactly the same as the girl experienced in the real life incident. The only difference is in the real life incident, the boys finished what was implied in the in advertisement.
And just after the incident, People started Victim shaming by asking why was the girl out? Was she drinking in pub? Was she out with her boyfried?
The controversial 'shot' ad normalized the gang rape culture and reaction on Hyderabad incident shows how society put the onus of safety on women by victim shaming instead of questioning or teaching men.

Safety ka gyan dene se phle ye batao child rape kyu hota hai? Dusri baat aaj kal to drugs dekar rape kr liya jata hai . To ladki ko kisi ladke ke haath se paani tak lekar nhi pina chahiye. Fault is in our society. Whether this case is a rape case or not we will see but this isn't a one off case. We see such cases every day or week. One thing is for sure that we need to be very mindful of raising our young ones. Today's social media and easy access to any content has made it even harder but still if we raise one good guy we can at least start making a change.

With all due respect to the women and girl around the world... I live in Hyderabad and all the localites got to know the true story of this so called "Gand Rape" after 3 days.... The main boy involved in this case have to release the videos of that girl having SEX with each of the boy with all her concent and she was completely involved in it. So this might be a case of Trapping rich boys who have been targeted for money 💸💰.... Rest, we all trust judiciary and let's wait for courts judgement 💯

FYI recording the video of a girl indulged in sexual or private act is itself a crime. May be they were planning to blackmail her afterwards with that video. That is one more crime. And how can you say that what happened was with her consent. May be she was given a drug. It is quite common now a days. Only medical test can prove that.

I won't say that she was totally wrong with the timing and all but i believe that we cannot change the world neither we have to. Our safety is in our hands. There are many bad elements in society and we are not responsible for changing them. We have to carve out our way through them to our destination. Hence sitting in a car at night with 5 drunk boys is definitely giving an invitation to trouble. Though this could have been avoided at the girl's personal level by being proactive and not sitting with them she would have been safe but then u would argue that these boys would have looked for some other target sometime later in another party. Yes that's true but instead of thinking at macro level if everyone starts thinking at micro level and start avoiding these bad elements then automatically situation will improve at macro level.

According to me, the entertainment industry in India is partially at fault for treating women as sex objects. Prevention is best protection. अगर कोई अनजान व्यक्ति मुझे लिफ्ट ऑफर करे तो मैं लिफ्ट ले लूंगा इसका मतलब यह नहीं है कि मैं लड़का हूं तो लिफ्ट सकता हूं और कोई लड़की है तो लिफ्ट नहीं ले सकती। बल्कि सच यह है कि मैं लिफ्ट तभी लूंगा जब मुझे पता होगा कि मेरे पास ऐसा कुछ नहीं है जिसके लिए वह मुझे हानि पहुंचा सकते हैं, लेकिन अगर मेरे पास कुछ ऐसा हुआ जिसके लिए मुझे हानि पहुंचा सकते हैं(like big amount of money 💰) तो मैं किसी भी अनजान व्यक्ति के साथ कभी भी नहीं जाऊंगा भले ही मैं लड़का हूं। और अगर मैं लिफ्ट ले लेता हूं और अनजान लोगों के साथ जाता हूं और मेरे साथ लूटपाट होती है तो उसका जिम्मेदार मैं खुद ही रहूंगा। तो आप सबसे निवेदन है कि लड़कियों को बहकाना बंद करें और उन्हें समझाएं कि सावधानी ही सबसे बड़ी सुरक्षा होती हैं। और जो बात मैडम नसीहत की बात कर रही हैं तो बता दूं कि अपराधियों को नसीहत देने का कोई मतलब नहीं बनता है।
