Wow. I’m not gonna lie.....the hairs all over my body stood on end when I read that, and I’ve literally stopped what I’m doing to reply. It’s all down to the sub base. Needs the right prep. Good depth of mot base and 50mm of mortar (semi dry) pointed up with a slurry grout
