This really depends on the player's skill because Layla can melt Miya when she is far away from her, and Miya can melt Layla when she gets close to her. (Edit): u can just use wind of nature to counter their damage completely.

To be honest if Miya used her Ultimate at the start of every round she would be on a winstreak

Unsolicited Opinion: Miya wins this 1v1. Ignoring player skills, Layla has to be far for her to hurt and hit all of her skills but Miya can gap close (weakening Layla passive) and evade her skills with her ult. Layla can still burst her and kill her faster but Layla has more win conditions making Miya more consistent especially if that's an Inspire Miya. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

It really depends on the player since layla doesn't have that much mobility she can be killed easily but she has a lot of range And miya has a decent mobility with her ult but she doesn't have the same range as layla but if miya just uses her ult and gets close to layla its over

If I had to pick I'll always pick Layla since she got that long a$$ range. But in a real match I'll pick Miya cuz her ultimate can escape unlike Layla.

For me I will choose layla, because the range of her basic attacks is deadly especially when her 1st skill hits an enemy, minions, and jungle creeps. And her passive which is the damage of her basic attacks increases when the target is far from her. Just my opinion. (Correct me if I'm wrong about the passive of layla, and hey Elgin hope you notice my comment, and can I have a gift from you, blazing skin of layla please😁😁😁)

If this is a real 5v5 fight Miya can wipe other marksmans in 1v1 Layla can make tanks cry due to sheer range Both can wipe a team if allies are good

In this Video Elign showed almost every scenario of Miya vs Layla 1v1. Here Layla didn't used her 2nd skill (CC) and passive . Even if Miya ult to close the gap , its not possible for every ambush to succeed. Note:Both characters were played by Glory players, so there is no place of saying "It depends upon player skill".

Layla's first skill is very important because only with that skill u can kill an enemy easily. Without using ur ulti.

Lol people talk about skill when no matter what happens the one who strikes first is the winner. There aint much skill involved when you could just melt everything in a mere touch. The only skill there is that i can see being used is the vision control (which as you know fucks up auto attack heavy heroes in which this battle is all about) and the timing of wind of nature which is so little considering one can just gap close easily and one can just outrange the other so it always goes down to "who strikes first" no matter what

Layla is strong in long range but when you intelligent person, Miya is marksman ambush queen strong near attack surprise

I can safely say with this video miya wins because Layla with long rage is scarier but miya getting closer makes her basic atk less damage and weakening her passive with miya's ult Layla's first can hit in a perfect timing which makes it hard for miya but with the life steal I can safely say miya got it
