What a great layout! I always love caves in a tank, they create mystery and interest. If you are a perfectionist like me and want to get rid of the calcium stain at the water line, clean the water line with a cloth soaked in white vinegar at every water change. Be careful not to get it in the aquarium water, wipe it dry before refilling. You will never have a water mark (calcium stain) again 😊
Thanks for the suggestion 😃 We're using RO water in all of our tanks. So calcium is less of an issue, but fertilizers still can cause some residue on the glass if we neglect it.
@@GreenAquaShop oh yes, of course, I forgot about the RO water you guys use. I just noticed the water line in this video. The vinegar will take care of it, if you want to remove it 😁
Finding your channel was the best thing that happened to me in a long time, this year each video has been great, they are all great, because each one has their own style and I love that ... greetings
Once again a beautiful layout full of details and details. Every Thursday, the best aquascaping channel in the world is always surprising. Congratulations Balazs, congratulations Green Aqua. Too bad Budapest is so far away from Portugal 🇵🇹 . See you next week. 😉😉😍😍
at the beginning of the video I couldn't see a vision of this aquarium and when you started making a cave and covering everything with soil it all made sense, one of my favorite hardscaps I've seen on this channel. Well done :)
Best aquascape video/tutorial/walk through i have seen anywhere to date and it had to be by Green aqua. Inspiration at its finest can't wait for part 2
Beautiful reminder never to rush the hardscape process! Just as/ if not MORE important than the planting. I love the theory behind composition. Thank you!
As always, a beautiful video, also useful. Every time I look at your videos and yes ... here ... it came down - "I can and can do everything!" you go to embody ... but something goes wrong .... I hope that thanks to your videos, someday I will still learn.
Hi balazs. Everytime i learn so much if i look at your video's here .thanks for that ,and great work so far.it will be Nice when its planted. Great hard scape already 👍🤛😉
I was in the process of planning the layout for my upcoming 120p tank. This amazing video has shown me that I should be focusing on finding big and high impact hardscape pieces instead and just "go with the flow" :) Thanks for this great video, can't wait for the planting !
😂😂😂 i dont make any rules nick, i just go with the flow.....( que the moss merkin) 😂😂😂 you guys are awesome, love Green Aqua and the beautiful world of Aquascaping
Absolutely love this style of video. Between this style and the style that Tommy does showing how he uses Photoshop, you guys are at the top of the RU-vid game for sure! Keep coming up with great videos and we will keep the support coming! Great looking tank btw!
Really cool !! Plants always soften the look after planting But this hardscape has something dark and mysterious that i really appreciate. I hope some of that is still there after planting 🤘
Balazs just gets me craking a smile... this days this is getting harder to stay positive... not even my tanks make me feel happy... Covid and lockdowns are just day to day depression shots... Thanks for the moral boost!!! Besides this sociological insight, another good info video!!! Stay SAFE out there!!!
Very satisfying when Balazs put the biggest wood piece in just right--my eye said, "There! Leave it there!" And he did. Also love how you created caves with the black material. Always learning good techniques here.
Since my favourite tank of yours got removed (Dave chow), my number one spot is empty. I may have found my new number one!! I sad the tank on your Instagram and I’m pretty sure it will make my top spot. Can’t wait for the planting video!! Great job for giving us new content non stop!!
Well, well, well, I heard they plan to make "Basic Instinct 3". Balazs, You have a chance to play one of the main roles😉. Thank u for this great episode, especially now, when I plan to rescape one of my tanks. Greetings👍
I love how you always employ the tips and tricks you have experienced from the celebrities/experts during Green Aqua workshops. So far, the hardscape is looking damn good! Well done Balazs!
I just re-scaped my tank and I am very much in love with it! So much Depth and layers 😍😂 took me 8 hours.. Done an all nighter 😬🤣 calling in sick for work today lol
The landscape in New Zealand is very inspirational for Aqua Scaping. and the materials here are one of a kind. native plants, moss, drift wood. to the volcanic rocks and blue Mountain rocks and finely defined spring river rocks. All in our backyard.. It truly is a marvellous place to live 😁✌️
Excellent video... hats off to you guyz...❤️ The Green aqua gallery...have many tanks with different beautiful aquascapes....can you guyz come up with a Dutch style aquascape..?? Like how to choose plants...and maintain the shape of the scape....It will be helpful to many Dutch style enthusiasts 😅....a small suggestion by my side 😌
You guys are great as always. That's an amazing scape and incredible looking pieces of wood. The tape and the thought process of how you constructed the golden ratio was very helpful.
Nice design! Hope i have seen this episode before I did the design of my underground river style scape, this might help m a lot, niw i will re-scape my aquarium!
@@GreenAquaShop I learn from ma man Balazs.. so I do learn being stubborn from you.. but am just gonna keep asking until it happens.. maybe it won't happen sooner but Greenaqua will remember their stubborn fan.. I am from India and wish to be there in the gallery to see and meet all you guys😭
Loved this layout and always the way you break it down and show us an easy step by step visual way to create some of the most incredible aquascapes! I know Tommy is loving this 😂😂😂😂 Cheers to your wonderful and beautiful director 👋 You have the best point about having so many things to discover when you look into your aquariums!! This design is one of the coolest layouts...Wow!! You guys at Green Aqua know how to open up the door of possibilities!!Just when I think I'm thinking outside of the box there's another box 😂 Thanks for figuring out a way to bring back the "basic instinct" I might have even laughed harder seeing it again😂😂 you about my green tea come out my nose 😂 The best way to start my day is waking up the Green Aqua way!!! Much love you guys and have a very blessed day!!!🙏❤️👋🌿🐟🌿👍
Yeah again this is something completely different thing what we usually do to help you all think outside of the box. Thanks for watching Pete and see you next week on the planting 😀 👍
Hi team, beautiful large pieces of wood, how much would something like that centre piece cost approximately ? Very impressed how you brought all this together, with the ratio that you explained and also the two rocks at top right , I wouldn't have even thought of that . Thank you so much for sharing this as always. Now a random question, do you,/ have you, ever used uv. Lamps on your setups and if so ,your opinions please, many thanks in advance. P.S. you are still top of my list to visit, hopefully now ,next year.
We have UV under our bigger tanks. All of them, really. Above 240 liters we do have UV, that's a general rule. Not sure about the weight of that wood piece, it must be some 3-4 kilos, if I remember well 7500 HUF per kilo, you do the math, sorry, got hundreds of comments to answer Terry. :)
very well done! My current plans of getting a 120x60x30 might be swayed by this. And go with a 120x45x45 instead. What does everyone think? sacrifice height for depth or stick with a normal sized 120?
