Looking good Art! Just one reminder, the hinges on your lift up section have to be higher than the top of the rails

Your expansion project is really looking nice Art. Remember the minimum radius for the Polar Express is 054. I’m sure you already know that. I’ve also pre-ordered the PE. I can’t wait to get it on my layout. 👍

I wouldn’t go higher than the backdrop with your mountain because when you put your camera low to take photos and video, the top of the mountain would include your wall. The backdrop has a rounded top style mountain with lots of trees, if you want it to be realistic is should be similar to the backdrop to tie in. I Really like your new track plan. You did amazing.

Looks very nice! Have you considered making that loop a reversing loop so you have the option to change the direction of the train? Might be a cool idea to incorporate those WYEs into that. Also I just bought one of those hobby shops you’re referring to!
