Its been 9 months since we bought our first motorhome. We thought carefully about which one to chose but as it was our first motorhome we didn't know if we'd chosen wisely.
In this video we'll share our rationale for our choice, show you around the van and explain the good, and not so good, bits. We chose several optional extras when we ordered it and we'll show you these too.
If you enjoy the video and find it useful, don't forget to like and subscribe.

Excellent and informative video. Ours is a Peugeot Boxer based vehicle too, and I have to say I find the driving experience position and comfort to be among the best I've ever used. Agree about the steering wheel slightly obscuring the Speedo, but when we're away on the continent I always change our satnav to read kilometres per hour and just refer to that instead. Also agree about the difficulties with getting a decent radio signal due to the crummy antenna in the door mirror. We've got a really nice aftermarket Sony stereo in the van that never picks up DAB and rarely delivers good FM because of that daft antenna. Our friends with a Fiat Ducato have the exact same problem. We also have solar, which I consider an absolute essential. We have a 120w panel connected to two leisure batteries. I used to have this paranoia about running out of power and would frequently test the batteries outputs with a multimeter. I've learned that with our system and our typical usage we're almost guaranteed not to have any issues. One thing I am seriously impressed by with the Peugeot is fuel consumption. It's a 2.2 120hp with a six speed gearbox and our average during last year's three week tour of France and Switzerland was an incredible 32 mpg. 👍 Again.......great video, with really useful content. Thanks.

Hi Kevin, many thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I think we share the same positive observations and experiences of the Peugeot van. You’ve done what we did with solar, experiment and work out needs to then adapt your system to meet them. We did a big upgrade last year and really like the benefits (but not the cost!) Thanks for watching 👀 Kevin, happy camping 👍 Andrew, Jane & Buddy 🐶

Great video as you the layout of the 155 suited us bright and airy. Ours is the autoquest dealer special so came with a lot of extras but as yourselves not many usb so I fitted more myself. We have a bike rack so we fitted a Thule back box for extra storage also I am broad shouldered so in bathroom removed shower door and the plastic shower holder and fitted a curtain round toilet give us a few more inches. Keep up the good work enjoying your blogs

We all could do with a few more inches!! 😂 I think I’ve seen your bathroom mod on one of the Elddis FB groups, looks a good idea 👍 Cheers Sam 🍻

Fantastic video guys, in many ways it mirrors the process we went through when buying our Moho last year. There will always be a compromise or two to make but as long as you can live with them then all is good.

Thanks for video as we are getting the 155 a 19 plate in a couple of weeks trading in our apache 700 as fed up of making beds up so looking forward to fixed bed slightly different control panel to the one in yours .were the tank heaters fitted as standard or part of the winter upgrade .enjoying your videos .

You’re very welcome, and the 155/fixed bed arrangement is spot on too, we love it and it lets us spend a loooooooooot of time in the van comfortably. The ta k heaters were part of the winter pack, if you have them you need to be careful. The tank heaters on the Elddis motorhomes are quite effective and have worked for me many times, recently in the Arctic Circle. To work you need to turn the switch on, and the control panel must be on (so won’t work while driving which I think is a shame). Once switched on, as above, they will activate, ie heat the fresh and grey tanks, if the temperature gets to below 5 degrees and there is water in the tank(s) (there is a float switch in each tank to prevent heating if they are empty) Each tank heater will draw up to 2.5 amps, so a max of 5 amps in total. If on EHU this is no problem but could be on some sites with a less than 16 amp supply if you are also using your heating, kettle etc. It’s more a problem if you are not on EHU, as they will very quickly drain a standard leisure battery, but can be managed if you have a bigger lithium, say 200 ah or greater. If you need any help/advice at all drop is an email, very happy to help. There is a couple of useful Elddis Facebook groups worth joining. Thanks for watching 👀 and good luck with your new van. Is that the Ohrex mounted on the dash, do they do a specific bracket? Just bought one and looking to dash mount it. Thanks

It is indeed. It’s been a great piece of kit for the money too. Only down side is that the battery is now shot so has to be permanently plugged into USB. Cheers 🍻 for watching 👀 Andrew, Jane & Buddy 🐶
