I have a question because you mentioned separate "power" districts: Do you let your "DCC" roster cook while you run on the main, or are they turned off by way of a selected and isolated power district?

This is actually my first viewing of your layout & I'm very impressed. Everything closeup looks 100% realistic. I love that style of Green on your front framing board ( what color green? Is it olive?) its beautiful ! I spotted on your layout The CP RAIL in BURLINGTON NORTHERN COLORS! Was that custom done? I'm a CP RAIL CANADIAN RAILS fan I would like to model a few engines I viewed. I'm building a new layout hopefully soon in HO SCALE. I live in New York, New York we hardly don't have any model hobby & train shows at all. It might be months from now until I can get to any shows in my tri-state area alone. Any how hope you're feeling better. This crisis of Covid 19 is so evil! Hope to get Better.when we were shut down I redone my Table got a Better Board didn’t take me long to get it done love it.now working on the Trackwork trying to balance it out not an easy thing then got to Buildings. To fill it out.nice layout.
nice update! How long before we see the 5823 leading a Robot coal train around the layout? I believe it was one of the Locotrol leaders before the Red Barns came along.
@@MilwaukeeF40C I do have 1 CP engine and a few CN's. Figured it may look weird on the same railway though. Plus the cost of putting together a decent inventory of both CP and CN would be quite expensive.
