Dear David, I started watching model railway enthusiast during the covid lockdown and never regret finding your channel returning to the hobby. You are a very talented modeler and I enjoyed watching each of your videos. As we see, changes are not always forseeable, like the loss of your home setup due to the move of your parents (by the way, sending them respect to support you in every way). At the same time you were so kind to keep us updated of your personal development, which made your decisions transparent to me. I was very much looking forward to the next level of development of both your setups and at the same time was afraid to see you turning your back to the hobby for professional reasons. Collecting rolling stock might now keep your spirit up (I have not developed the space to have a setup of my own but kept buying for years now). My congratulations to your degree and lots of success in your professional development. Hope to see you back on the channel whenever your schedule may allow it.

Good Luck with your future plans David. A forced change of circumstances, similar to yours, happened to me but the railway modelling blood remained in my veins until, 44 years later, when I started again from scratch ! So much had changed in that time and I was 'green' to the model railways scene. You have before you life and all that it throws at you ! I wish you all the best but try to avoid that gap becoming too great. Your modelling skills are very praiseworthy and I look forward to your return. I'm a bit long in the tooth so I might not still be around but anyway, talent like yours deserves to be displayed. Good Luck !

I was hoping for a 2022 Christmas video from you as 2021 was excellent one I really enjoyed but I am aware of your employment and appreciate the difficulties. Cheers David. We go back to Episode 1, when you started. You certainly have become a talented modeller, and engineer too by the sound of it. Why not take a look at some N Gauge items. They have dcc sound and are really lovely models if you are short of space. I have a nice steam sound Class 8F as well as sound-fitted Classes 08, 25, 40, 60, 66 and a DMU too. 🙂 Great that you're enjoying the job. I was flying for 16 years. Good luck for the future. Hi David I was in pretty much in the same boat “pardon the pun” as you were when I left my small country town to be a small cog in a big machine back in 1991 but the passion for model railways never left me and it was put on hold due to personal space or the lack of it.
