hey there! i'm assuming your question is for our general fishing instead of just lazarus island? for rods below 12ft, we prefer to use dead peeled prawns and worms(sarong, sandworms, wat wat) depending on location. usually if there is more than one hook, we will load up different bait and see which one has more response. for our surf rods, we prefer to use, swa chiam(sand whiting), green eye squid head and wat wat worms. it depends on location and whats available. where do you usually fish?
there was one big pull on one of the rods but the line snapped before we could set the hook. Jon and Ahmad Dan's side also missed one big one. thats fishing for you, you win some, you lose some.
