Tornado occasionally goes through Shalford station when it does it's mainline trips. Tornado is my favourite train and I have seen it at Shalford station, the watercress line and the Bluebell line. I once saw an A4 called Bittern, it was at the watercress line and afterwards I watched it take forever to be prepared to be transported to the Bluebell.
Do a race with all of the Peppercorn A1s, a race with all of the Peppercorn A2s, a race with all LMS Princess Royal Pacifics, and a race with all 30 GWR King class 4-6-0s.
We have something in common,My most favorite steam engine is The LNER A3 class Flying Scottman from the UK.For My most favorite in the USA is the Union Pacific Big boy.For tank engines,I actually like the LBSC Railway E2 and E1 class tank engine. Plus,I'd go for the BR(British Railways) A1 class Tornado.
if you want your steam trains to go faster than you are getting them to go you need to keep your throttle at full and start your train with your reverser in full forwards than slowly make your way down towards your neutral position but never reach 15% forwards for optimal speed and efficiency

Huh, didn't know that Nigel Gresleys locos were better than American locos, so basically the Mallard is better than a Union Pacific Big Boy? I think not, American locos reign supreme!
I wouldn't say that American locos are supreme to British locos. They are both built for very different climates for a start. American locos are very bulky. British are nice and slim, quick and efficient too. Sir Nigel Gresley assisted in designing some American locos. American locos are very strong, same with British. They are designed for different weather conditions and for different services.
I have been on the A4 sir Nigel gresley and I have seen the mallard before but would like to ride on the mallard or even the tornado but not as much as the flying Scotsman with 2 tenders
