Shoot, _I_ didn't notice that, I had to go back. In fact, I was looking for an Easter egg (having taken the comment literally and thinking you must have done this around Easter time lol), until I finally caught what was being referred to. Son of a gun, I should try that on one of my own videos next time I post some memories on Facebook! Lol
Do not use these in the water. Two almost drownings in Australia when the fabric split. Once wet it encapsulates the body & face like cling wrap. Use only on dry land.
@Johdi Farrell Some of those inflatable lounges can either have a deep sown middle which causes it to 'sink' when people sit in it, however alot of companies now have made them so they are water friendly, as they have shallow sown middle meaning u dont sink when u sit in it. although they say its mainly for land use, water use can still always hold that danger. hope this helps
Mine just came in today. I love the floating in the pool idea, except that mine was bought primarily because I have multiple friends over from time to time and thought extra seating would be helpful, or maybe an extra sleeping place if I happened to have 2 friends stay overnight. (yes, I have a 2 br. apt. but right now that extra room is more of a storage room till I can get that fixed up)
Its kind of sad that the first three videos i found from typing in 'air lounger review' were people reviewing who were useless at inflating it and end up basically saying it doesn't work. Could see alot of people dismissing this (possibly brilliant) product because of them. Thank god somebody with a camera knows how to put air into a bag. Might buy one.
You quickly claim people are useless at inflating it. I just spent half an hour twirling around in strong winds trying to inflate this stupid thing. So before claiming people are useless at it, buy one and then tell me how easy it is. Waste of money. Need a bloody pump to inflate this thing. And, the video cuts to it already inflated, so no, this does not represent the truth.
Haha, thanks Andrew! That's an awesome comment, and I appreciate it. You're right, it seriously takes just a couple minutes of practice, but after I figured out the tips (*basically close the opening on backswing), it makes it so much easier.. no wind needed.
Yeah sure it does cut, but I assume and hope this is just the style of video and nothing untoward is going on. And there are other more amateur style videos showing people inflating them if you look. You might notice the technique is a lot different on the successful ones. The unsuccessful videos tend to be people running around their gardens with it open vs people quickly pulling it through the air and closing it again, repeat. Didn't mean to offend. I was just disappointed that a cool product could end up being a flop due to bad reviewing.
What am I missing here? I'm a big strong guy and I just spent half an hour twirling around in a decent wind and still could not get enough air in this thing. I'm just dizzy now.
Are you sure you're closing the openings on the backswing?! This is the key tip. After a little practice, I've got it down where no wind is even needed. (Though wind always helps ;-)
got one of these and found it the biggest lot of crap. Very hard to inflate even with wind I am not heavy and cant get enough wind not to touch the bottom and very uncomfortable. Feel a rip off would never say buy one
