SI3D OcuView is a simple but effective method of occlusion. Unlike patching, it allows the viewer to know more accurately where the lazy eye is looking, offering better feedback and promoting 3D vision. It also allows maximum light to still enter the dominant eye causing less blurriness after exercise. They should be available in less than a months time.
If you are occluding, as is stipulated in the description, your lazy/strabismic eye is being forced into use. As you stare at the screen your eyes will soft focus, building stronger 3D pathways to the visual cortex. Hope this helps.
