This job was long and tedious. Big diesel injectors are no fun to remove. In this video, you will see a glimpse of the job in it's entirety from the POV of me, not a diesel tech...A novice tech at best. I saved myself several thousand dollars here and gained a load of experience which is priceless. If you have done this job yourself, tell me about it below!
*Additionally, I wrapped this video up and quickly after discovered my "low coolant level" issue. As I mentioned the coolant level was okay, however I continuously got the low coolant error. Long story short after completing my injector job I was left with one extra connector unplugged. I also ran into my air conditioning working improperly where the low side would freeze over. I searched this issue in the LB7 diesel facebook forum and discovered I had the low side pressure switch plugged into my coolant reservoir and the coolant level sensor connector not plugged into anything. These plugs are very close to each other on the harness and are easy to get mixed up as they are the same connector type. Double check yours if you experience similar problems after doing your injectors. Especially if everything worked before, chances are, its not a coincidence. *
