The conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate, with unprecedented sabotage of pagers and walkie talkies injuring and killing a combination of Hezbollah agents and civilians in Lebanon.
More traditional strikes are also raining down on both sides of the border. Most recently 31 people were killed in an Israeli strike, including seven women, three children and two Hezbollah commanders.
Matt Frei and Ali Miraj hear the thoughts of LBC callers, many of whom fear 'perpetual war' in the region. What next for the Middle East?

This is entirley israels fault. In the 2 weeks preceeding the oct 7th attack netanyahu displayed a "new middle east" map without any Palestinians. Then gyvir and a couple thousand people stormed the al aksa mosque. They held 5600 palestinians in administrative detention meaning there were no formal charges of any wrong doing. 170 were children. Why does no one talk about them just stealing land in the west bank? A targeted attack wounding 4000 people and only taking out 35-40 people.
