Thanks so much for this presentation. Alcantarea in the USA have been very confusing. I always thought the Alc. oderata with the glaucas pointed leaves was different from the round tip glaucas tip one. I will now call it Alc, cerosa.

I agree. Leonardo is the best thing to ever happen for the genus Alcantarea.

Would sure like to see a video of Puya gilmartinii named after my Major Professor and author of Bromeliaceae of Ecuador, Dr. Amy Jean Gilmartin. Nice informative video.
