The LCD models are really nicely detailed. I've got that same mauve F1 and the Elva in Gulf livery. Really done well. I like them. I had also ordered their Speedtail, but the seller sent a ice blue F1 instead. So sometime I'll have to order one of those. Very good comparison. Will be waiting for the next video. 👍
I will still go after the Mini GT versions, just because I collect McLaren F1's across all different brands, and as long as the proportions are there. But of course I would never say no to an LCD if I can get my hands on one. Nice review!
Great comparison. Really LCD model has stunning details, such as the front and rear lights, the amazing inerior and the photo etched parts as well as the carbon fiber underneath the car. Anyway the Mini GT model is quite good for the price . Greetings
Great review, definitely agree with your conclusion. I got my LCD McLaren first (as it was at the time the only game in town) but I had no regrets and it just oozes quality. Love the MiniGT’s there’s already three in the collection (yes I am an F1 tragic 🙄). The blue road going version is good, but what I think are really stellar are the competition liveried versions. Both the Le Mans & the ‘96 Presentation liveries are just so well done.
I think all things considered, I'd take the Mini GT, small increments in details for such an increase is price would only matter if you had a magnifying glass lol imo (for 1:64)
MINI GT's Supra casting is old AF, LCD is miles ahead. Although, the best Supra casting is from Hobby Japan, LCD still has room for improvement on moving parts (in 1:64 of course).
I’m prolly gonna wait for the orange minigt f1 that I think is coming out 👀 but I’m considering the blue one beforehand. I saw pop races but I’ll wait on that brand bc I gotta wait for my trusted diecast reviewer to do one first 😂
@IdontKnow-jt2oz yeah hopefully they actually do that color. It hasn't been announced but we all know they like to get every penny they can out of their castings
