A detailed explanation of the differences between LCD and LED displays and a conclusion stating what's the best choice for you.
This is not a proper buying guide for buying monitors. This is just an explanatory video about differences between lcd and led displays.
If I said monitors in the video I am sorry, it should be "displays".
Some lines/script is taken from an article and is not mine. Those lines were so well written and easy to understand that I didn't feel like changing.
I have no intention of monetizing this content ever.
This was made by me only for the sake of giving knowledge to the people.

This video is for those who are buying very cheap monitors. You are talking about gaming that means atleast you will buy a decent budget monitor, then my friend almost every gaming monitors which are available are ips/va/tn LCD which are all led backlit, i.e. all are using led backlight. So basically nothing to differentiate here as lcd and led. If a video on "ips vs va vs tn is needed which one's best for gaming?" is needed do let me know in the comments, I would be very happy to provide that. This is a video for people to choose between fluorescent backlit and led backlit monitors.

IPS, VA and TN are all types of lcd. And they are the most suitable choice for gamers because they are cheap and comes with good picture quality and high refresh rate. And i am seeing that many people are taking this video wrongly. This is a video to compare between fluorescent and led backlight monitors. Nowadays whatever gaming monitor you check they are all lcd but are led backlight so. These video is not specifically for you. And as your ques says whats best for gaming Go with IPS for best picture quality TN for best refresh rate and response time Va to stay in between the two. I hope it solves your problem.

Depending on the brightness ,Indoor LED (400-600 Cd/sqm) is super vivid soft and colorful .

If you can go up by just a little bit like 1-2000 more then you can get a good led backlit monitor. I use the Benq GW2283, you can go for that, if not then there are also good monitors available in this price range from acer like Acer ET221Q.

LEDs are point source light, similar to shooting lasers into your eyes. All colors of LED are destructive to your eyes, not just blue light.

I have both i would say LED tvs have better picture quality but the sound is trash but LCD tvs have better sound but the picture quality ain't as good as LED tvs
